Towel animals @ AKL

Is it true that mousekeeping does NOT do towel animals at the Animal Kingdom Lodge??? If no, why not??

We were just there 3 weeks ago and got towel animals three times in one week.

We just got back late July and got towel animals every day! One day we even got back in time to watch our mousekeeper create one--a monkey swinging from a tree! We made sure to tell her how much we appreciated her work!!

We were there in May for 8 days and never got any. But towel animals aren't a priority for us, so it wasn't a big deal. I think we got a towel animal at wl once. It seems like towel animals are hit and miss. Here's hoping you get lucky!

Have stayed twice - no towel animals

We were there 7/30 - 8/6. We got a towel animal on sunday-- a cute duck, and none the rest of the time. I wonder if they have different mousekeepers on weekends?

As you can see from these posts, You should not count on having towel animals in your room. You most likely will be disappointed over something that you shouldn't be. If you do get a towel animal it will be a wonderful "extra". Enjoy your trip.

We stayed at AKL for a week in May 2004 and received two-a duck and a bunny. My kids loved them.
