Not sure how many people have gotten the email, but touringplans.com updated their crowd trackers today. It's quite a bit different for my November trip with crowds going up on some days from a 2 to a 5. It does impact our trip somewhat, but it's a little too late to really change everything with the way our dining plan is for each day.

Just thought you might want a heads-up as soon as possible.

Just got the email. So far my dates are holding, one or two days up by one. Two days down by one. Not enough changes to make any adjustments :)

Yet...

Got mine. Most days are up by 1 or 2. Like OP, I can't really change plans due to dining reservations.

I'll admit that drove me crazy when I used them on a past trip. It was before easywdw started up
Every day for our trip changed pretty significantly between the time I planned out our days till the day we left. We didn't even have a change in schedule like the EMH this year to account for the changes. They just ran the computer program again and they changed.
It's one of the reasons why I bailed on them for crowd levels.

10/18 Saturday - Touringplans changed AK from a 6 to a 7. Easywdw still has AK listed as the most recommended park. Should I make changes or stick with AK for that day? Thanks!

Early-mid December crowds just seem bizarre. Especially MK. MK has the lowest crowd prediction almost every day, even on a non-party day on a Saturday with EMH until 12 PM, he has it being a 2. I want to believe that, but it just can't be true.

OMG got my email too. Our Epcot day in September went from a 1 to a ....6!!!!! All of our days had SIGNIFICANT changes. Some went from1 to 3, but 1 to a 6??? I have ADRS every day, so can't change now. But I can say 100% that this will be our last September trip. We booked for the low crowds even though it's going to be scorching hot. Now it looks like it will be crowded and hot. DH is going to kill me because he wanted November and I sold him on September based on the difference in crowd levels on TP.:headache:

Easy WDW uses different logic for "most" and "least" recommended parks, and we have followed it and found it pretty spot on. I'd leave it.

That being said, anyone know how often Josh at Easy WDW updates his crowd calendars? Curious to see what he would change, if anything, for these same time frames.

I love Josh's website. I think it's a better predictor than the crowd levels. I think it's easier to recommend a park overall than actual crowd sizes. Am I making sense? We went in February and the TP crowd levels were underestimated but we stuck to Josh's recommended parks and it was spot on!

1000% this. I used TP once and the constant changes drove me insane. I only use Josh's crowd calendars now and haven't run into a problem once.

Wow, just checked my whole trip. Every day has gone up at least 2 and there are days DHS is now higher than MK.

However often is needed. He does it pretty quickly when a change warrants a change in the crowd levels. He does it by human analysis instead of computer so he may feel that nothing has been changed that warrants any significant changes to the crowd levels.

I'm with Buzz...so glad our trip is AFTET the Frozen stuff. Praying they don't extend it.

August 29th at DHS has gone from a 1 to a 4. Allow me to say with all sincerity F*** Frozen!

This is a case of where Josh's analysis and the computer at TP's analysis do not agree. Josh has said that in his opinion the fact that Frozen activities are every day throughout the summer it will not alter crowds significantly. Those that are going to HS are going to HS. It's not like there are limited days the Frozen events are occurring will cause people to flock there on a certain day. While no one can say with 100% confidence that is how it will play out I tend to agree. Why would more folks go to HS on a given day because of Frozen? It's there whatever day they want to go. Will a few schedule trips that didn't have them already, maybe. But not THAT many. Disney is not a trip that a large number can do on a spur of the moment.

Then what would account for the entire week suddenly skyrocketing?

And I have seen a LOT of people who have booked for that week since the Villains/Frozen announcement, specifically for this reason, particularly AP holders who had no intentions of going that week.

Sorry, I wasn't clear. I didn't mean that wasn't why TP changed their figures. I am sure that is why they changed them.

I was simply pointing out that Josh didn't agree.

No one knows right now who's crowd level prediction will be accurate

AP holders are folks who can schedule last minute trips. What I have no idea on is just how large a percentage of the visitors to Disney are AP holders. I guess it's a small part but it's a guess only.
And aren't some AP holders blacked out in the summer? Not having one I am not sure what the options are

Gotcha. Man vs. Machine. In this case I am hoping humanity prevails :cool1:

The AP blackout dates end on 08/14 this year.
