Touringplans.com lists 2006 MVMCP dates?

Were these dates announced, or are they just going by history, and what days of the week MVMCP usually takes place?

It's definitely just a guess. The dates have never been out this early. The earliest was last year and that was the end April.

They always fall on Sun, Tues, Thurs and Fri.

This year, Thanksgiving falls earlier in the month then it has the past few years so I'm not 100% sure the first party will be the Sunday after Thanksgiving...in 2000 and 2001 the first party was a week after Thanksgiving.

Thats what I thought. I'm hoping they start MVMCP on the Sunday after Thanksgiving this year. We get there the Sat after Thanksgiving , and I'd hate to have to wait till Thursday!!!

I had the same question so I emailed Len Testa. He replied back that the dates in Touring Plans are just guesses based on past history. But I thought that the first MVMCP always started the first Sunday after Thanksgiving. Right??
We are staying the extra night just to go to the party on Sunday. I hope it will be on Sunday. We'll just have to cross our fingers and hope for some pixie dust.

Hopefully, they will have one the Sunday after Thanksgiving but like I said in my other post above, in 2000 and 2001 when Thanksgiving fell early in the month, like it will this year, the first party wasn't until the Thursday after Thanksgiving. But every year they seem to add more parties so this may be moot!

Yes, the dates are estimates. I think we say something about this on the page itself, but perhaps it's not clear enough. As soon as they're announced, however, we'll get the calendar updated. I should have updates for Gay Days posted by end of this week.
