Just a heads up for people going this first week of January. Both sites say that the Christmastime Parade will be done at MK Jan. 1st thru the 4th but in fact it will be the Celebrate a Dream Come True Parade with the last performance on Jan. 4th at 3:30pm.
So from Jan. 1st to Jan. 4th it'll be the regular MK parade at 12:30pm and 3:30pm

Actually, MOUACTP is listed on the official WDW entertainment schedule through Jan. 4 (the TA calendar). It is my understanding that CADCT is no more (not that it was much before).

WDW announced a couple of months ago that CADCT would be back for its swan song January 1-4. I too am curious about this apparent conflict.

I just decided to post this because a friend of mine was asking because her parents would be here for the 4th and wanted to watch the Christmastime parade. I doubled checked on the HUB and it is, in fact, the Celebrate parade's final performance at 3:30pm.

Yulilin is correct. Christmas Parade ends on December 31st. The parade performers were informed of this in October.

My DD performs in both MOUCP and CDCT; CDCT definitely returns for its encore/finale January 1st - 4th.

Funny title.

easywdw has had Celebrate A Dream Come True for January 1 - 4 for the six and a half months the schedule has been up on the site as far as I know.

Yulilin's friend may have seen this entry on easywdw, which is incorrect as we all have confirmed:

Celebrate A Dream Come True Parade at Magic Kingdom Officially Ends December 20th, FASTPASS+ Changes at Epcot
by JOSH on NOVEMBER 1, 2013
As widely speculated, the daytime Celebrate A Dream Come True Parade at Magic Kingdom will run for the last time on December 20th. Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmastime Parade runs twice daily (12:30pm and 3:30pm) from December 21st through January 4th. Beginning January 5th, there will be no daytime parade at Magic Kingdom. Disney ended Hollywood Studios’ Pixar Pals Parade back in April of this year. Animal Kingdom’s Parade is expected to end sometime next year as well. At Magic Kingdom, Festival of Fantasy is expected to debut in “Spring 2014.”

Anyway, a thread title such as "Celebrate A Dream Come True Runs From Jan 1 - Jan 4" might be more helpful.

Possibly, but most DISers give more credence to info that is presented on established blogs such as easywdw and touringplans as well as the incorrect TA site.

Maybe if "Celebrate a Dream Come True Runs From Jan 1 - 4" were a post on easywdw then it would reach more people who wouldn't contest the info by quoting the TA site.

Actually, I almost posted something about this earlier today, er, Saturday.

I was going through our FP+ selections and thought about using one on the Christmas parade on NYD. However, when I got to NYD, it said CDCT and not the Christmas parade. Now, we will be sure to go on Monday! Thank you for clearing it up!

Actually I think this is a suggestion about how posts are titled that I've always thought would be helpful. Someone on the DIS might not even be familiar with touring plans or easy wdw and may not read the thread, but they may be very interested in knowing about the parade schedule. They might miss this because of the title.

Just my 2 cents worth:)

True. And some may think, going by the title, that both sites were wrong with regards to doing which park on what day. Which seems to be the most common way those sites are used. Clarity is a good thing.

All threads should be titled "Josh sucks and here's why"

Except...Josh doesn't suck, so those threads would all have misleading titles like this one does!

OP, thanks for pointing out the conflicting parade information. I'm sure that many will find it useful. I do agree with others, though, that a thread title regarding which parades are performing would be more helpful as not everyone knows what TouringPlans and easyWDW are.
