Do you stay in one park until you've toured it completely? or do you hop from park to park?

previous trips we've stayed in the same park for the whole day - this time we are going to try to park hop w/ a break in between to rest

Can you tour a park completely??? ;) I'm sure everybody has their own way of doing things, but we usually try and get the most out of whatever park we're at on the day we're there, and not park hop. (Unless, of course, the park gets really crowded.) My theory is this: I don't want to waste a lot of time hopping between parks rather than getting a lot done at the park I'm at. Of course, we may come back to that park later in the trip if we feel there's still a lot to do!

Some attractions have large lines at certain hours of the day and sometime you can't always get to those attractions at the right times and if you've already seen everything else you want to see then it is best to go to another park for a while. This is better than mulling around a park waiting for lines to subside or waiting in the long lines yourself. Many people also take a mid day break and after the break will visit a different park. This is especially true if you have taken advantage of early entry because EE parks tend to get crowded later in the day.

The first trip, we stayed all day, exhausted ourselves. Now we park hop. Usually doing the EE park first, then hopping to the park that was EE the day before. Like, we'd do MK on Sunday a.m., go back to our hotel for a break, then over to MGM (MGM had EE on Sat.) We usually go in September, so we end our day at Epcot, usually. It's open the latest. We have been known to do Fantasmic and then walk over to Epcot for Illuminations (that is, if Fantasmic is at 8:00 or earlier.) It makes the day so much more enjoyable for us if we park hop. Mixes it up, so to speak. But, everyone has their preference. You'll just have to see what you and your party likes.
