So im heading to BC resort for 5 nights with 4 day magic your way tickets from May 4th thru 9th. I'm trying to plan out the attractions for my family;

DS1 will be a month away from turning 3
DS2 will be 4 months old, so this trip is really for DS1.

is it my understanding that we can't go back to same park another day after visiting EP first day for instance? we don't have park hopper tickets so trying to see if we're allowed to do something like;

day 1:arrive, check in hotel around 4pm, chill by pool/dinner, walk around resort then bedtime
day2: go EP and return to hotel for DS nap/pooltime, get dinner at EP again..can we return to EP again??
day3: go to MK
day4: MK again (can we do this even though went day before?
day5: AK or EP? not sure if AK is worth it for my boys?
day6: hang in pool after breakfast, checkout and fly out home

any attractions that's a must i need to reserve for my boys?

You can leave a park and re-enter the same park later. Park hoppers are for visiting more than one different park. With MYW tickets, you can choose any park on any day. You could do 4 MK days if you wanted.

Staying at BC, it is so easy to walk over the bridge to EPCOT entering through the International gateway. Afternoon breaks will be a breeze.

As for the attractions in the parks, when my son was 3 here's what he liked.

MK: Dumbo, carousel, barnstormer, jungle cruise, buzz, Monsters Inc, Aladdin, Peter Pan, small world, teacups, castle show and parade. (Terrified of characters and 3d)
Epcot: Nemo, crush, innoventions, play fountains (bring swimsuit or dry clothes), boat ride in Mexico, snacking around the world showcase and train set in Germany

DHS: Toy story mania, Cars meet and greet.

AK: safari, triceratops twirl, walking trail, Nemo show, lion king show (not open when you go)

If it were me, I would skip DHS. If your son is a big cars fan, take a bus from a park over to AoA and look around and have lunch there. He can see every car from the movie and run around and play in radiator springs.

Does your little guy like animals? That would probably be my big decided when choosing between AK or Epcot that last day. And actually...depending on how much he likes Epcot the first day...you may even want a third MK day if you choose not to go to AK. I would stay flexible with that based on how he does those first couple days in the parks. He may or may not like characters, may or may not like dark rides, etc...that can greatly influence what you want to do those last couple of days.

PP gave great information about what things may appeal to your son. Other things to keep in mind:

Epcot:

1 - Play area at exit of Mission Space...little kids can love these sorts of things. I haven't actually been in it...but it seems similar to the set up at McDonald's Playplace areas. It will be in a/c and a good place for kids to run around.

2 - I loved Captain EO when I was little (though it does have some loud noises...so not a good choice if he's easily startled or scared by such things...all kids are different).

3 - Inside the Imagination Pavillion after the Figment Ride (another big favorite of mine as a kids though it has changed) there are more play areas for kids where they can conduct a musical figment or chase lights on the floor.

MK:

1 - Splash area in the circus area of Fantasyland...I see a lot of little ones having a real ball there.

2 - Tom Sawyer Island can be a great place for kids to run around...so if he's a runner this could be a good place to chill out that's a little less crowded than other areas of the park.

3 - Play area inside Dumbo now while you wait. Again...if he's the active type this might be something he would enjoy.

4 - Little kids seem to generally enjoy the spitting camel by Aladdin's Carpets. ;)

5 - I really loved the Tiki Bird and Country Bears when I was little.

AK

1 - There is a "Dig Site"...basically a giant sandbox for kids to play in...if he's into that sort of thing.

2 - There is a petting zoo in the Conservation Station. You take a little train within the park to this area (which can be fun for kids all by itself). I really enjoyed the trip I took there one trip.

3 - Flights of Wonder is a fun show with live birds...if he's into animals it could be really great for him. Even if you don't see the full show...there's a pre-show they do ahead of time that draws a crowd and is run just outside the entrance to the show.

DHS

1 - Honey I Shrunk the Kids Playground...LOVED LOVED LOVED this when I was little.

2 - Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast Shows...great if he likes those movies. Skip if he doesn't.

3 - Lights Motors Action show...if he likes cars and action stuff this could be good. Depends on his attention span though and if he can sit through a show or not.

He is crazy about cars! anything with trains, cars and planes he's all over it. What is AoA?

is using FP worthwhile for any of attractions in EP? currently i have meno for 330, journey into imagination and then illumations as my FP for that afternoon into the evening with 2 hour gap between imagiation and illuminations between, so any suggestions for dinner in EP??

Thank you! it's very helpful ;) that's the thing, DS1 isn't really into animals as we've been to a small zoo locally and Philly zoo and he wasn't wowed by either zoos except for the lion exhibitions. Hence my decision to do EP or MK again instead of AK.

I'll keep things open on that last day before we fly out, based on how DS do in the first 2 days. good advice! is there any you recommend for me to make FP that is a must??

Had a family visit to WDW when my Granddaughter was 3. The only think she remembers is the "Dig Site" in AK. She still talks about it. But she likes to dig and play in dirt. (I think she will be a farmer or an archaeologist).
