Touring Plans

Hi, has anyone ever used the touring plans outlined in the "unoffical guide to DL" I am trying to figure out what would be the best way to "attack". lol We will be traveling with a 6 and 9 year old. They both have been to DL several times. This will be our first time going during the summer. Any advice???

I love the Unofficial Guide! We have used these religiously for years! It's a real godsend when it comes to planning the day. I find that it makes "the book" responsible for everything and cuts down on fighting about what to do next, etc.

You'll do more walking, but less line-waiting.

We always take each day's schedule, amend it slightly to fit our family preferences and then do what it says. We've always finished everything well before we were supposed to, which leaves lots of time for "go backs" or taking breaks or heading to the hotel for a swim, etc.

We were there last week and used the 2day plan from the book, and the 1day DCA plan. We amended it slightly (before we went) because we had EE and Toontown Madness.

Everyone knew, before we went, that there would be no arguments about following the plan. We found that following it made our trip really enjoyable and non-stressful. The advice worked out great for us.

I recommend making sure you know what Fastpass options are currently available though - we had to make a few changes because the system had changed slightly since the book was written.
