Has anyone used both and which did you like best???

Easy wdw looks good and easy, but, I know touring plans works .

What your thoughts if you used them both???:confused3

I think what other people were trying to say rudely, if u search for this topic, there have been many threads on it.

Typically most people find Easywdw more accurate.

OK, I'll play. I've subscribed to Touring Plans for several years, but I also check Easy almost every day (not obsessed much!). I also find Easy to be more accurate.

Are you just looking for what parks to go to on what days or when to plan your trip? Easy WDW is really good for that. Usually when we've traveled with recommendations from both on that front the recommendations have been pretty similar. Most people when the two differ say Easy WDW is more accurate. I've only looked at Easy WDW twice and in both instances the recommendations for what would be a good day to visit the park I wanted to visit were almost identical. What's nice about Easy WDW is that they give you the reasons behind the recommendations. It's a very respected site.

I like touring plans for the detailed ride descriptions and ratings (helps me decide what attractions I want to hit) and the great touring plans, ability to customize my plan, and use their optimization software to come up with a plan that saves me time waiting in lines. We start with the adult highlights touring plans and then make a few subtractions and add Animation Academy at DHS (only item that is not on the adult highlights plan we like to do). If you have limited time in the parks and aren't sure which attractions to hit, I have to say I think their recommendations are really good. I also like their tips regarding where to go to watch parades and fireworks, menu links, and little maps with step by step plans. I'm a big fan who first go their book back in the 80s and has been getting the online subscription for every trip I do for the last 10 years. The $15 or so for me is well worth it to maximize my enjoyment of a WDW park even if I am going just one day a year (which by the way is usually the case for me). With spending almost $100 a day per person, I want to have a great experience and find touring plans really helps with that. // A plan is more important IMHO if you are traveling high season on a crowded day than if you are going on a day that's not as crowded. // From what I'm reading, though, it seems WDW doesn't have that much of an off season anymore. Still though when school is out parks are even more crowded, so minimizing that time waiting in line for me at least is huge, and at busy times especially the comparison of doing the parks without a plan vs. with a plan were night and day, so much for fun for us with the plan.

I tried following EasyWDW in August and it didn't really work out the way he said it would.

I'm not sure if its because he tours as a party of 1 (honestly, I don't know) but we couldn't get ANY of the additional 4th FP+ he suggested for MK day in the time frames he advocated, so it was standby-city in the afternoon even after arriving at RD. Could have just been an unseasonably busy day or something, but the suggested 4th FP+ for SM between 1 and 2 wasn't available at the kiosks until 3pm (ie, 2 hours after his suggestion). Ultimately we just gave up. This was a party of 2 people.

With Touring Plans you can set the schedule/attraction order as you want to get a rough idea of wait times. I found their estimates to be pretty accurate (35m wait for Pooh at 1pm, etc) and I got to set my own touring schedule. I did not continuously "optimize" my touring plan while in the park. Just optimized in the morning and followed that general outline without looking at my phone all day. I 100% absolutely hate the TP mobile app, I think its the biggest piece of junk there is.

So overall, pick whichever one you want, they are pretty close, I don't think one is inherently better or worse.

The one thing that does interest me is the DisneyWaitTimes site (I think EasyWDW wait time site pulls the same data) - since it shows the rough delta between posted & estimated actual wait times.

Thank you all for the information you all gave great answers, and I really do apologize to those who were bothered due to my question. I had surgery yesterday and my brain wasn't running with all neurons and saynape spaces working properly. Therefore if I ask anymore weird questions heads up there still not that great today.
btw I was in a panic I was having to book my fast passes last night. thanks again to all of you. except frostyjosh yes, I did mean to leave off NOT and maybe you should too.:goodvibes
