Touring plans says November 12th crowd level 10!?!

Hello, Im doing some planning for my upcoming trip in November and I use touring plans as a guide to park crowd levels, but I cant figure out why they are saying crowd levels of 10 on monday the 12th! any ideas or insight?

It's a holiday (veterans day). Kids may be off school that day. Plus it's the last day of food and wine.

That's added to Jersey week so lots of people will there from the 7th thru 12th/13th.

Yea, it just jumped to 10s for every park a few days ago. I’m trying not to stress out about it.

I knew it was a holiday, but I didn’t think it would be a “10” holiday.

I’ve been there the last few veterans days and jersey weeks. It’s busy but FAR from a 10. Other than MK on non-party evenings, the parks were very manageable.

I agree.

Now that I’m not at the mercy of my DDs post secondary school breaks we’re free of the October 10(ish) crowds and back to November stays. Yes, Remembrance Day crowds were high, but not anywhere close to a 10 IMO.

I don't understand why the actual weekend days (Nov 10-11) aren't a 10, but the Monday is. That doesn't make sense to me. Either they should all be 10s, or the weekend should be a 10 and the Monday should be a little lower with people starting to leave.

Also, no other site says Monday is unusually busy so I'll take it all with a grain of salt.

We were there last year November 12-20. On the 13th (Monday) we were in MK which was at crowd level 8. It was busy, but we had a great time and did tons of stuff. Got 15 FP+s!

I was thinking the very same thing. We took the Saturday as a pool day and then I was surprised that the Monday was rated so high for crowds. Now I'm questioning what to do. Just made ADRs today now I might want to change things........ argh

There's a MVMCP party on the 12th!! There's no way the crowd level will be a 10 on a day that closes at 6:00. Will it be more crowded than other days with a party? Probably, but not a 10 crowd level. Keep your plans.

I was there on Veteran's Day weekend last year. It was busy! Totally doable but be prepared for higher than normal crowds!

Crowd calendars don’t mean anything IMO anymore. I don’t trust them.

The only thing I trust is that it’s gonna be super busy and possible 10 during July 4th week

Yes, I got this notice as well (going from the 10th to the 18th). I had already assumed Veteran's Day was going to be super busy so I plan to go to MK but only for a few hours in the morning and then back to the resort to chill at the pool followed by a Fort Wilderness trek in the afternoon/evening segueing into Hoop De Doo. Hopefully we can avoid most the craziness with this.

I have the same exact question about crowd level due to veteran's day.

I think some further clarification would be very helpful.

Will there be a significant crown difference (much more crowded) at the MVMCP on Nov 12th as compared to the 13th?

What is the best day to go to the party if a family is visiting that week?

The choices are 12th, 13th, 15th and 16th.
I have also been advised by friends who have gone to make the party towards the beginning of your trip to avoid being too fatigued.
