Has anyone tried them? How accurate do you find their predictions to be? I'm playing with them in advance of booking FPs on Wed. and they seem *really* optimistic. I don't feel like the time of year we're going is quite as low-crowd as their data seems to suggest, and I'm not sure what I'm seeing would really work more or less as planned. FWIW, I'm travelling with three teens and a 9yo, so there's not a lot of spur-of-the-moment shopping or character chasing to factor in, but still... How trustworthy are the plans?

Touring plans custom plans are the bomb. I went through day after day after day, and they helped me do everything I wanted to do. Larger groups do move more slowly through the park, so if it seems too optimistic to you make sure you set your walking speed to slow. That tends to make it less optimistic, because one or two people move much faster through the parks.

A month or so back there was a similar thread questioning how optimistic the TP personalized plans are. The overwhelming response was that they are pretty accurate. Most people did say they tweaked the settings to provide for very relaxed walking (and minimize walking if you have young kids). This seemed to provide some buffer. And the Lines app will adjust on the fly in the park.

I've been using them (FP+ day is today - I'm here killing time until 7 a.m.) for our March trip, and I pegged walking speed at the slowest and walking distance at the shortest (knowing our family - they'd think I'm crazy to have them criss-cross the parks when a ride is next door). I input the rides we wanted and let TP optimize. After the initial optimize I moved things around manually and hit evaluate. I also tried to build in a lot of buffer time and not be too ambitious. That said, I've also been really surprised at some of the low wait times predicted. For instance, in HS it has me not using all my FP+ because it's not the most efficient. Maybe their data is showing that early March won't be that busy? We can hope ...

The proof will be in the pudding when we arrive in March, but I figure having a plan is better than having no plan. Good luck!

They do seem to work good; however, the problem I am having is that I have anytime FP+ ahead of my trip for certain rides and in order to put them into the custom plan, I have to put a time in with them. Otherwise, if I have a time based FP+ for say, BTMR and also have an anytime FP, when I let the system optimize the plan, it always puts the two rides back to back.
