Touring plans crowd tracker jump - Nov/Dec 2016

This is really worrying! Our dates are 3-17th December. I know full well that there is never a quiet time at Disney anymore, but we thought these were good dates for lower crowds! I haven't subscribed to TP but used a couple of other busy day guides for my planning and was hopeful that we were getting a low to moderate crowd level! We haven't been for nearly 10 years and really want to make the most of it! Plus we are taking the kids out of school which we would not have done if I knew there would be the same crowd levels as the peak Christmas holidays

They are not saying it will be as busy as Christmas - they are saying it will FEEL busy because Disney may not staff to the same levels. You might not have the walk on wait times we had 5 years ago these weeks even thought the ride capacity could be raised to give it to you. The reality is that it still won't be AS busy as the holidays so a good touring plan should really be your focus right now. Also - some rides - like Buzz lightyear don't have alternative capacities - so those waits should still be lower. It's rides like Space Mountain with 2 sides that might not both be open.
