Touring Plan help

I have reviewed and compared touring plans made by easywdw, wdwprepschool and Kenny the pirate. We have one day at Magic Kingdom and I'd like to hit the major rides and also meet characters. The problem I'm running into is that I can't find a one day touring plan that includes both. It seems to be either a two day plan, a plan centered around just characters or a plan centered around just the rides. Anyone finding this difficult or am I just looking in the wrong spots?

Go to Touring Plans - Touring Plans - Customized Touring Plans and input the things you want to do and create a custom one.

You'll have to sign up for Touring Plans but NOT pay for hte service.

You're seeing that in two day plans because with so many attractions and character meets at Magic Kingdom it will be very challenging just to hit all the major attractions in one day, never mind adding in character meets on top of that.

You could always register with touring plans, not the paid subscription, just the free one, and then do a personalized touring plan. Start by putting in your must dos and edit down from there. Or, take one of the one day plans, and substitute in character meets for things you may not want to do in that plan.

You're seeing that in two day plans because with so many attractions and character meets at Magic Kingdom it will be very challenging just to hit all the major attractions in one day, never mind adding in character meets on top of that.

I thought the same thing, but I was told that you just have to register, and then chose something like "just need a basic subscription see here".

Tough to do everything at MK in one day, even on a low crowd day. With only 3 FP+ reserved, you can bang out a bunch of rides the first hour or two after rope drop, but if you want to do both rides and characters, you're going to have to wait in some lines. I'm sure you've looked at easywdw's cheat sheets, you can see how the wait times change during the day.

You're right, I just started using TP, and noticed that, too. Wish they would incorporate character meets in there. I guess the only way to do it is to schedule in breaks or something. I wish I would have known that before I paid for the subscription, but that's the way it goes.

We are going back for MNSSHP so we'll be able to fit some more stuff in that night but I was hoping to get the majority of things done the first day. We'll just do what we can and won't worry about what we might miss!

To get around this in my plans, I put it down as a meal in a restaurant near the meet so I can set the length of time and it will calculate the walking times and mark it on the map. In the notes, I note which characters we will be meeting. Ex: Cheshire Cafe for Merida.
