Touring plan for Early Entry day.....and I have no EE ticket.

Please help me out. If I go on an EE day, but I have no EE ticket, then what should my touring plan be? Should I go to the left when I get inside the park, and avoid Tomorrowland and Fantasyland until later in the day?

And if I understand correctly, while we are waiting to get into the park, I can still go on Main St. Is this correct? If so, where on Main St. should we have breakfast? Thanks!

I would go into Tomorrowland and get a fast pass for either Buss or SM and then head over to Adventureland and work around that way. It will be a bit of backtracking, but will help you later in the day.
For breakfast, you can pick something up from the Bakery on Main St. or sit down at Carnation Cafe. If you decide to do Carnation, I'd call Disney Dining to make priority seating.

Avoid Fantasyland on EE days. Tomorrowland is different because of the FP for SM and BLAB, so no need to avoid that. Fantasyland does tend to calm down in the evenings, except for PP and Dumbo, so you can go later in the day if you want. But first thing in the morning is best.

Some days they will let you onto Main St. early, and some days they will not. If so, you can think about breakfast but personally we never eat breakfast at DLR because the mornings are too valuable. We do bagels, fruit and cereal and save heftier meals for later in the day.

I agree with Hydroguy (like most times). Stay away from FL, but the rest of the park is fair game. I like the suggestion from BillyFan. Grab a Space FP and head over to the other side of the park. Usually that left side of the park doesn't fill up until late morning/early afternoon. It's a good time to ride Indy, BTMRR, Splash, HMH, and Pirates with very short waits.

I also say don't eat breakfast in the parks. We often bake muffins or small things and carry them with us. They make for an easy breakfast before going to the park, or while waiting outside the park for the gates to open. Plus it's cheaper! If you don't want to bring breakfast items, try the bakery in DTD. I've heard that it's decent and it's very close to the park gates.

Oh I like the bakery idea. I wouldn't mind grabbing something from there the night before and keeping it in our room for the next morning. What is the name of it?

La Brea Bakery. And it's the first store on the left in DTD when entering from the park entrance plaza.
