Can you give me your opinion on this plan for a family to do in one day at EPCOT?

FastPasses: (need suggestions on the best time to schedule these FP and the best strategy)
* Frozen Ever After
* Spaceship Earth
* (HELP! can't think of a ride to add as the third FP)

Rope drop:
*Test Track (or is Soaring better to RD?)

Immediately after Test Track, ride Soaring. We've never done Mission Space, and would be interested in learning more about the Green side and the difference between that one and the Orange. If the Green is motion-sickness proof we might pick that as the third FastPass.

Since we are on that side of the park, thinking about doing the Nemo ride next. Then start making our way to the World Showcase starting in Mexico.

In your past experience, what activity, character meet and greet, or ride was memorable for the kids in your party? I'm looking for suggestions on things to do that would interest kids.

Thank you in advance for the insight!

I would Fp the character spot. It's a great way to meet Mickey Minnie and goofy without a huge line. I would def go to test track first then maybe go meet joy and sadness. Their line can get really long quickly. I wouldn't head over to soarin until 10ish. We found all the rope droppers were gone at that time and the wait was 15 to 20 mins. By 10:40 it jumps back up to 45 mins. You could even go to joy and sadness first, baymax is right next to them and then head to test track. We loved the meet and greets!

Cool, Thank you @Rivergirl2005 this is great info! So far the day is looking like this:

FastPasses:
* Frozen Ever After (like around 2:00 pm)
* Spaceship Earth (like around 1:00)
* Character spot (like around 12:00)

Rope drop Test Track then meet Joy and Sadness. Make our way to Soarin to be there shortly after 10. Maybe Mission Space if someone can she some light into what the Green experience is like. Then Nemo, then FP for character spot. Then spaceship earth, then start the world showcase with Mexico. And move our way through the countries. How does that sound?

What we are doing this time is hitting the rides in FW in the morning as soon as we get there. Then moving over to WS around 11-12. We have FP+ for FEA from 12:30-1:30 and then will spend the rest of the day exploring WS and eating/drinking around the world until Illuminations at 10.

Keep checking on occasion for the wait times for Soarin and TT, but my advice would be to RD TT (be at gate 45 minutes before scheduled opening time), followed by FP for Soarin. Perhaps the additional screen is helping with lines at Soarin, but even with that during even moderate crowd levels Soarin remains very popular and lines 60 minutes plus can build soon after regular opening. Last month (without FEA) we finished with FW in the morning and spent afternoon in WS.

You are closed in but not the "spinning" as experienced on Orange, and I doubt you need a FP for it as ride appears to still "concern" many park visitors who avoid it entirely, due to its reputation - because of spinning in Orange level.

Completely agree, you should be able to get on the green side in 10-15 mins tops. The Green side is quite tame (which is great for me!) compared to the Orange side. Basically you just jostle around some while performing your jobs to land the craft. Orange side is a whole different animal; not for those who get motion sick easily (me :))

Ok, great! I'm glad to hear about the Green side, we'll give it a try. I've been avoiding Mission Space because of the Orange's reputation. Thanks!

Make sure you check out Kenny the Pirates website. He post characters times and they have many characters throughout the world. Mexico- Donald, Pluto in a pavilion before Mexico, Anna and Elsa Norway, Mulan in China, Snow White in Germany, Aladdin and Jasmine in Moracco, Belle in France and Alice and Mary Poppins in England. It's a great place to meet Belle, And Mulan. It's a nice break and some characters do not have as big of wait time here compared to MK.

Good to know! Question - how different is the information on the Kenny the pirates website from what its posted on MDE? I've only used MDE in the past.

Kenny lists all the times and when characters take breaks. Mde just list an overall time like buzz 11-3. He is more specific... It's an extra 11 dollars but I loved it..no pressure :)
