Hello  !

We'll be going in Dec. and I'm wondering, are you able to just tour the Nick Studios area??

I'm not interested in waiting to be on a taping of slime time live, but I thought my kids might enjoy exploring this area:p !

Anyone know!

Thanks!
;) :D ,

Yes, this is still available. Check the times out (under Game Lab I believe) beforehand and pick one. Although nothing big is filmed for Nick there anymore, it's still kind of neat to see the size of the actual sturdio.

Actually, the nick tour has been gone for about two years now. It's only game lab now.

Thanks for the help!

Notatourist- What is the game lab? what is there to do there? Is it worth a stop?

Thanks again for the help!

Really? Wow, I guess I haven't done it in a long time then!

Game Lab is a short show that mimics the format of some of the old Nick shows. One lucky kid gets chosen each time to get slimed at the end.

It used to be that they said they were testing out games for the TV show but they seemed to have dropped that pretence.

There's always a kids vs adults game that somehow the kids always win.

The kids' seating area is for kids up to 16, but the age demographic skews much younger. I'd say kids older than 12 are rare.

It's a fun show and worth a visit if you have kids the right age.

We went into the Nick building in Aug.2002! My daughter was picked to participate. At the time, she was 9. She had to compete in a trivia type game regarding Nick shows. It was definitely a neat experience!

What goes on at Nick Studios really depends on what the studios are being used for at that time. Right now it's a game lab, and you walk through just a little section of the studios before hand.

The studios were being used mostly just for Slime Time Live over the last year (which is over now). Rumor has it that one or two new shows will start to be filmed there sometime next year.
