Touring Guide Suggestions?

With all of the different shows and attractions that seem to be one right after the other, I was wondering if anyone had any touring guide suggestions for SW?

If you are going in low season you can just go and everything is pretty easy to get to.

If you are going in the summer or the week between Christmas and the New Year, be ready for crowds. Get there early and make sure to get a map/show schedule on the way in. Go to whichever of the big three (Shamu, whale & dolphin, sea lion & otter) shows is first. (usually sea lion & otter) While you are waiting for the show you can try to plan your day. Go to the first Shamu show, most people try to go mid-day. Early in the day it's easier to hit the big three and then everything else is fun but if you miss a stage show or something it won't be a big deal. Get to the shows you really want to see early. If it's very crowded and especially mid-day/early afternoon the stadiums can reach capacity and close as soon as a half hour before showtime.

I'd recommend an Adventure Express Tour. I'm sure there is seasonal pricing but right now it's $95 for adults and $80 for kids. We got a guided tour for 7 hours with front of the line access to the rides (Kraken, Wild Arctic, and Journey To Atlantis), reserved seating at the Believe show and Blue Horizons (the most popular shows), and lunch at the Dine With Shamu area (the food was okay but we got to see the whales up close). We got to feed the dolphins, rays, seals and sea lions without fighting the crowds. The tour guide was able to provide all kinds of info on the animals and the park. She was able to answer all the questions anyone could come up with during the day.

Oh I wish I'd known about that before I bought my tickets!!!! That sounds fabulous! I guess that just means we'll have to make a second trip some time soon!
