Touring before boarding the ship? How crazy is this idea...

There's a specialized walking tour in Vancouver for my favorite TV show. The only available time is the day we board from 11am to 12pm/12:30pm. We are scheduled to board at 1:30, but could push it back to 2:30 (maybe later?). The tour is described as "start walking around the West End, check on some filming locations and from there to Yaletown and finish in Gastown".

Would it be crazy to take the tour, then go directly to the port?

I should add that we're a party of two adults, traveling with one suitcase. That suitcase will be at the hotel which offers free transfers to the port (so I don't think we'd need to be involved in that process).

I think that sounds wonderful. You can appreciate a little Supernatural, and then get on board. If you want to show up later than your assigned time you can certainly do that. As long as you make it aboard before they close the terminal and the ship leaves, you won't have a problem. Just make sure the hotel takes care of your luggage transfer AND you have all of your documentation with you when you take you tour. This means passports, boarding documents, all that stuff. have a great time!
