Touring Bay Lake tomorrow, questions to ask, advice?

Following the last two comments it's worth giving a bit of balance...

For sure BLT is not to everyone's taste.....but by all accounts it probably is the most popular DVC resort ever in terms of sales, price paid per point and how quickly the resort is selling out.

BLT is a great resort which would not be as successful if it wasn't popular.

Sure it's not perfect but none of the resort are.....their is a recent thread complaining about furniture at OKW.

I wouldn't want to stay at many of the DVC properties, not my taste....

BLT, VGC, AK- Kidani are resorts I like to visit.

We have stayed at BLT twice and have not had any major problems regarding the quality of the rooms we stayed in.

Have to agree that the best thing about DVC is that there are so many options for people to buy and stay places in which they will be happy.

We are also huge BLT fans and love its location. We have not yet, in 3 stays, had any issues, but certainly expect in any resort that they can and do happen.

Given the price of BLT, I would caution people to make sure it is a place they want to be. We knew before buying it was our top resort because of location as CR had been our resort of choice prior to joining.

We are in the process now of buying BWV because we realized last summer that owning in the Epcot area (having stayed at BCV and BWV the year before) so we can easily do split stays for our summer trips and have a place for Food and Wine.

DVC is a big purchase and no matter where someone buys, they have to be content and excited about their purchase.
