Tour Walt's Apartment

Outstanding! How did you find the site? Can you imagine how great it must have been to be at Disneyland when Walt was sitting on the verandah or better still, walking down main street and seeing him going to get his morning raisin toast and orange juice!

Too cool! I must admit to getting a bit misty-eyed!! :umbrella:

Thanks, Missypie! That was just about the best thing I've ever seen posted here on the DIS! I'm trying to picture where the apartment is exactly. I haven't been to DL in several years, (although I grew up nearby), so all I can picture is WDW right now. Can anyone give me directions so that I can look up and see where the apartment is the next time I'm there? :flower:

Have you ever visited laughingplace.com? Their message boards are more Disneyland oriented. Anyway, you can subscribe to their e-newlsetter and several times a week you get links to articles published just about anywhere about Disney (and ABC). Here's the link to subscribe.

It's right above the firehouse. Just take a left at the entrance gate and through the tunnel and it's on the left about 300 feet ahead. I always pause and spend a minute looking at the light when I visit DL.

VERY, VERY COOOOOL!!! Thanks for sharing it!!! I just sent the link to DH, I'm sure he'll enjoy it, too!!!

missypie-thanks so much! That was awesome! I especially liked the victorian lamp that is always lit, to symbolize Walt looking over the Happiest Place on Earth!

Thanks again,
Ursula
