Tour that includes topiaries behind the scenes

Is there a tour that includes getting to see where they make / keep the topiaries? I thought I remembered reading about it once, but now I can't seem to find anything. Thanks!

Topiary is the art of pruning and training a plant to grow in whatever shape you desire. You can find two variety of topiary: One is vine topiary where vines are grown in topiary forms. And the other one is shrub topiary, where a shrub is cut into any form.

These Indoor/Outdoor topiaries will give special attraction & a focal point to your garden.

The Backstage Magic used to stop at the greenhouses where they create and maintain the topiaries. I don't know if they still offer this as part of the tour.

I did the Backstage Magic tour about 3 years ago just prior to the start of the Flower festival that year. We went to the greenhouses to watch them work on the topiaries that were going to be on display.

Topiaries were part of the Backstage Magic tour in June of 2013.

The stops we made on the tour were:

• Epcot - forced perspective architecture and American Adventure ride mechanics
• Hollywood Studios - Costume shop and Tower of Terror ride design and technology
• Animal Kingdom - Parade vehicle technology and close up view of their design and function
• Landscaping - tree staging, flower development and growing, topiaries
• Magic Kingdom - Utilidor tour, parade timing and effects

This is a full day tour, so obviously there were other things we saw, but these were the main ones. There was actually quite a bit of time spent at the green houses and discussing topiaries.

Just took the Backstage Magic tour a month ago. Now they drive the tour bus slowly through the greenhouse/landscaping area, but you no longer get off the bus. It takes about 5 minutes. We did get to see them finishing some of the topiaries for the Flower and Garden Festival. It was interesting to hear how they make them!

Are you asking about the Epcot Garden Tour held during the Flower & Garden Festival? I read about it last month and wanted to do it but they only offer it a couple of days per week and the it didn't work for my schedule. I did see in my notes that is from 9 am - 12 pm and costs $64. It is supposed to be a behind the scenes tour of the festival. If you go, let us know what you thought of it.
