Tour of Kidani on Wed am

Ooh, I can't wait to see it. When we stay at the Jambo house for a night in June, can we use the Kadani pool or must we stick to the Jambo one?

I look forward to pictures, but remember, no using it, the pool is for AKV guests only (non-pool hopping location)... ;-)

I am sorry but I took this as kinda nasty also, lighten up!:tigger:

Hey now, lets be nice. The wink at the end meant it was probably a joke.

And one question about this topic. I thought the Kidani pool was for Kidani guests. Kidani guests can use the jambo pool but the Jambo guests can't use the Kadini pool. I am not telling I am asking if what I know is true. That pool is too small for more than the Kidani guests at moderate capasity.

This thread was not intended to offend or stir up the pot. It is just a question of clearification.:dance3: Lets all have fun and do the happy dance.

So was the pool and water play areas full and water flowing?? Were there ANY places to refill mugs or grab a breakfast snack?

I think that DVC guests staying at Jambo are able to use the Kidani pool and the reverse is true as well, DVC guests at Kidani can use the Uzima pool at Jambo. Guests staying through CRO cannot (?) - this is what I read a while back.

I'd love to see an arial picture of the pool (or from a higher floor) to more accurately see how large/small it really is.

There is a photo of the resort map and info sheet (along with lots of photos) here: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2126352&page=3

According to the info sheet:

With the addition of Kidani Village, the name Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge now refers to the entire site. Members and Guests will have access to all amenities across the resort, but must check in at the building in which they're staying.

There is also a thread discussing those photos, particularly the pool, here: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2156040

Is there anything in the lobby with the names of the founding members on it? :confused3

The tour was fun - we could certainly see our family staying there in the future. We *may* add on points at BLT since they have a good deal going on right now - that has always been DH's "dream" resort. We are members here at AKV.

And not to start anything again, but during our tour we were told that Kidani guests could use the Jambo pool, but not the reverse.

anybody see a fireplace on their tour? We love to sit by the firplace in the lobby at the lodge!

I don't mean this in a nasty way, but I really hope that is true...that only DVC members can use both Jambo and Kidani pools, and I say that only because of the space. I just don't see how the Kidani pool and splash areas could comfortably accomodate DVC guests from both Kidani and Jambo plus Jambo resort guests...both buildings are SO large! Well, I guess we'll just have to see what happens next week.

Oh I can't wait to see it in person!! Only 9 more days!!!
