Someone I know is going to WDW in a couple of weeks and said they got a tour guide. The tour guide is going to bring them in the back entrance so they don't have to wait on any lines for any ride? What is this? What does it cost?

Doubt it is legit, unless they're spending large coin with a Disney tour guide directly.

Went to the link you provided - it doesn't say- but I'm guessing the $275 an hour is on top of the price of your admission tickets? Plus you would have to pay for park hopper to have them take you to multiple parks in a day?

Go to the linkk then click through the "Read more" links. The pricing and details are in there.

A couple of years ago I had some friends visiting and they had arranged to have VIP Tour Guide one day during the trip and asked me if I wanted to come along.

We never went through any Park Gate, all our accesses were from backstage at or close to the attractions we were going to do.

Tell us more did you enjoy it? I have done the private tours at sea world and at bush gardens but not at wdw....yet! Lol! My husband thinks its too expensive

I believe they featured this on a Travel Channel special -- showed the family going to the different attractions, meals, etc. At the time I figured it would be pretty expensive and not many people would take advantage, but I've never heard any kind of "trip report" from someone who did that.
It would be nice to have that kind of $$ to spend on Disney, but I can think of other ways I'd rather spend the money.
:thumbsup2

We had friends do this at Christmas. Crowds were awful and they had a great time because they didn't have to wait in lines.

Happened to see a family using it the first part of Feb as well. VIP tour.
