The scary thing is it's probably not far from the truth. DH and I still quote on a regular basis a letter to the editor in the local paper complaining that there were no good restaurants in the entire county. The author had to go to the next county for his Red Lobster fix (Ironically in our new neighborhood the Red Lobster went out of business).

Know what's sad? Thanks to the boy's bumble belly [he's better thanks I know you were all so worried ] I didn't have to go to said political fiasco-tion - but Sophie, who always wants to go where there is dressing up and food, got to go and SHE got to go to the bar. Twice. By herself.

Latest Update: 10:50 p.m., Friday evening

Just called my main IT guy and he said they are still working on the server. There have been no surprises and he reassured me again that everything seems okay. Right now they are loading necessary drivers for the publication process.

Not to have violins playing in the background, but I have had the flu/cold bug for the last two days and need to leave the office. I'll have my cell with me at all times, including by the bed, and he promised to call me as soon as we're back online no matter the time. I'll post here as soon as I know more.

He still sees no reason as of right now why we won't be back up very soon -- late this evening; early a.m. He also indicated that because of changes they are making the site should be more efficient / better performing once we're back up. He tried to describe why, but right now he might as well have been talking to a potted fern.
