We are going in Sept. Just dh and I. I've already made out our schedule with our ADRs and which park on which day. Then I came across this TGM thing! Now I don't know what to do!

Is it worth doing it and possibly having to change everything I have planned? Are the parks still crazy crowded in mid Sept?

HELP!

I've purchased TGM three times, so you can tell I'm very happy with it. Even if you don't end up changing anything, you'll find the info on his site interesting and it's no more expensive than a much less-detailed book.

If everyone used TGM of course then I'd have to find a new touring strategy!

I believe mid-Sept shouldn't have much of a crowd. I wouldn't stess out too much about having to change everything - TGM seems to focus more on saving you time during the peak seasons. That said, as a newbie to WDW (it's been a long time since I was there) I do like TGM's articles. In fact, after reading his site and the UG, I don't feel like a newbie.

Just make sure you understand that the site does not simply state, go here, then here then here. It is a fairly complex site that takes some time to learn how to find the information. If you do purchase it, make sure you give yourself time to learn how to find what you are looking for on the site.

His best days alone are worth the money. This is the third time we've used him and I'll never not. We're going last week in Sept, first Oct. You have plenty of time to read and learn. Like someone else said, even if you don't change your days, you'll know how to tour.

I had the same situation as you. I had my initial schedule set and all of my ADR's made, then I found the TGM site.

Post your planned itinerary on the message board over there and they will provide some feedback and may encourage you to make some changes to avoid some bad days at some parks.

I changed the majority of my schedule, including changing some ADR's while keeping our CRT reservation and dealing with being at a less then optimal park.

Net result - perfect vacation and no more then a 10 minute wait for anything. His advice works, don't be afriad to change ADR's...especially when you are still 5 months out.
