I have to admit that I am curious since it seems to be "love him or hate him".
I would love some opnions and the "proof" the opinions are based on. I am a compulsive overplanner but also a huge cynic. I have to say I have trouble believing his claim that even during high season his plans allow for lines of only 10-15 minutes. Is that possible? Have you followed his plans and found this to be true? I thought that was only possible during EMH or in the first hour the park was open.

Is he worth it if you have no intention of being there for rope drop unless insomnia sets in???? :confused3

To answer most of your questions, the answer is YES!! I am a Disney Veteran having been to Disneyland/World combined over 100 times. I tried TGM on our last trip and signed up w/him immediately again for our upcoming trip.

A lot of his information has nothing to do with "rope drop" or anything else of that nature. It is just information to get you into the shortest lines and the least crowded times.

There is a lot of info. on TGM in these threads, but my best advice is to try it. If you don't like it he offers a speedy refund, no questions asked. Also there is a discount code on mousesavers.com for $3-4 off. You really have nothing to lose, give it a try.

Well, I think there a lot of threads about this and I doubt anything new can be regurgitated.

In my opinion, if you aren't going to arrive at the parks early, you could still benefit but not as greatly.

Sign up and see for yourself. If you don't think it's worthwhile, ask for a refund.

We went during President's week last year, and waited more than 15 minutes for a ride precisely once---and that was when we deviated from Mike's plan.

But, Matt's right---you've got to be willing to try to do things Mike's way. One of those things is getting there early in the AM. If you're not up for that, I think you'd do much better with touringplans.com's "late start" tours.

I think of myself as a vetran too and I used TGM on my last trip and I plan to use him on all of my upcoming trips. It took some time to get used to the website layout, but once I mastered that it was smooth sailing. I followed his plans on my trip in the fall and I was simply amazed at everything I accomplished. Like others have said try it for yourself and see how you like it he has a money back garuntee.
