Tour Groups

This question has been asked I'm sure many times before, but Where do the tour groups stay? We are thinking about driving straight through to Florida and just staying at a value resort one night before we head to WL.
I love the idea of staying at different resorts, but I don't like the idea of all the tour groups overcrowding my kids. (We plan on letting them unwind with a short dip in the pool when we get there that night.)
We were thinking about Pop Century or All Star Music but I would like the one with the least amount of tour groups. (No offense to anyone)
We are going in July. I know that tour groups are pretty heavy then as we've been twice in July before.

I have stayed at the Allstar Sport and the Allstar Music in July and the tour groups have been there each trip.
I would suspect just like our high schools or band groups etc who tend to stay in value resorts to keep the cost of the trip reasonable, the tour groups from other countries would do the same when they visit the US.
I do not know about the POP Century, but from reading information on these boards, the Allstar Resorts seem to be the resorts where the tour groups tend to stay.

Thanks for your help. We are only going to stay one night, so it really shouldn't be that big of deal. We haven't been to a value since 03. I'm kinda excited to get to see the big characters and such again!

We did see some tour groups at ASMusic last summer, but I don't really recall seeing them at the pool. we were in Calypso and I know they were staying more at the back of the resort so maybe they were at the piano pool and not the guitar.

We never had a problem with them at the resort, just at the parks
