In my opionion I think alot of the posters on this subject are making a big deal over nothing, exagertating or being narrow-minded. Yeah sure some of these groups are big but if they werent standing or walking in the same place you were at the time somebody else would be. So what they dont speak english. This is Disney WORLD. Its a place for everyone from any country to visit. So what the are loud. They are teenagers excited about being at the happiest place on earth. So what there 50 of them in line to eat. They have every right to vist the same restaurant as you do. If someone else is ordering for them and it takes more time then so be it. The same goes if they have one person getting their fast passes. I have seen many large familes not in the tour groups have one person get the fastpasses for everyone. If you hire a Disney CM guide they will get your fastpasses for you so ther is no difference.
I was there during the the first week of July and saw many of the groups and never witnessed one problem with them unless having fun is a problem. In fact most of the groups just walked around and didnt do much riding of the rides. In seven days I only witnessed one group actually in a ride line and that was soarin. I heard about one minute of chanting which didnt seem to bother anyone. In the same week there some kind of dance competition at I believe was Coronodo Springs and if anyone was loud it was these group of girls who happened to be mostly all American. The only actually bad part about them being loud was that when they came in from the parks about 1100pm in their private buses they were chanting, cheering and well just being girls. Maybe some of the posters confused the Brazlian tour groups with the dancing girls.
I know everyone has there own story to tell rather it be knocked over or somebody cut in front of them. I sure some of these stories are true but its not only the Brazlian tour groups thats doing it. Im sure if anyone thats ever been bumped or butted in line was to make a post we would have far many more posts about people who are not in those tour groups.
While in line in the standby line for Test Track for an hour and a half there was a Brazlian girl about 15 and her brother about 10. Though not with the tour group I feel its important to tell you how they made a first impression with me. The girl was getting some gum out of her pocket book and my dd6 was staring at her much like a hungry kid would stare at someone eating. The girl saw my daughter staring and asked her if she would like a piece. Of course my daughter said yes and the girl asked me if it was ok. Since we were in line so long both my daughters talked with her for the whole time. She was very nice and polite along with her little brother. Both spoke perfect English. I was very impressed with how well they spoke English since I lived in Germany for 8 years, married a German woman and still cant speak German.
To sum up everything I think we should all be more opened minded and realize that not everyone has the same customs as we do. If you get the chance to talk to someone from Brazil or any other country for that matter jump at the chance and they might change your feelings toward them. For the poster that stated an adult turned around and spit in the face of a Brazilian child. That is rude and would be grounds to get kicked off property in my opionion. Nothing give you the right the spit in the face of a child no matter what you think they did to you. Adults handle things differently than that.
