I just did a live chat with a cm and asked her what discounts were available for park tours (Segway, Keys, etc.) and what the discount was. She told me that Disney World was offering no discounts at this time. Is this right?
Jenny, call back and own up that you forgot. I did that with Keys to the Kingdom and they refunded the $9 discount of the $60 cost to my credit card. If I'd had to cancel and rebook, I would have, but it wasn't required.
For the original poster, with a AAA membership, you get 15% off of most tours, including Keys to the Kingdom (the only one I inquired about). You do NOT have to book the package through AAA.
Thanks everyone for the info. I knew that no discounts did not sound quite right.
Can my AAA TA book the tour or do I need to do that? Do you pre-pay ahead of time or when you arrive at the tour? Do they send you info, tickets, etc. ahead of time or would I get this upon check-in at my resort?
I booked it myself through 1-407-WDW -PLAY. It is charged to your credit card at the time of booking & there is a 48-hr cancellation policy. They will give you a confirmation number which you bring with you along with your admission ticket to Epcot (MYW, AP, etc.) & a picture ID. Then, you would enter Epcot FW & give your information to the person at the gate so they'll clear you to enter (if park has not opened). There is more information & reviews on this (I believe on allearsnet.com & possibly on TGM if you subscribe). Enjoy!
I booked a tour last week and told the CM I have an AP, AAA and Disney Visa. He said that Disney Visa is 20% and the others are 15%, so he did the Visa.
