This is a really, really tough one for me.
Here are the details:
March 1-6 @ Pop, Hubby & Me only trip, we have our AP's already.

$440 AP room-only vs $1106 MYW w/DDP thru AAA.

We could probably eat for less than the $110 per day cost difference. However, since it is only hubby and me, I am really interested in nicer restaurants and not cutting corners, for a change. Also, the package includes the minimum required 1-day base tickets, so we would (in essence) have approximately $130 credit toward our next AP purchases.

What do you all think?

I would have to say take the DDP plan. You can use the extra ticket towards any future tickets. You won't loss that money. If you don't want to cut corners, the DDP is an excellent option. Book the restaurants that you would never pay OOP for an app, entree and dessert. Places that you two could really enjoy. You will still have the counter service and the snack option available to you.

Sounds like a nice vacation, Have a great time.

Sound like to me you kind of already made up your mind. I would go DDP too. I was in a similar situation and went with the DDP. I hope you and your DH have a great time!

Don't forget that the really good restaurants require 2 TS credits, which seriously cuts into the DDP benefit, IMO.

Go with the DDP you'll be so pleased you did. You can really make it a fantastic :thumbsup2 experience with all the great dining you can do.
The only bad part is that you have to plan ahead as much as possible to make full use of the plan. LeCellar & Les Chefs are just a couple you can enjoy and will spend your daily $ at just them alone. With the plan go and indulge and enjoy :cool1:

Good luck, YO

I guess it does sound like I've made up my mind. However, I was soliciting opinions 'cuz the Dis has been known to provide me with info or an angle I hadn't thought of on my own. If someone gave me a new perspective, I could be influenced. As I suspected, though, most agree with where I was leaning. I believe I will book with AAA tomorrow, MYW w/ DDP and 1-day base tickets. Thanks, again.
