Anyone think Top of the World lounge will be opening anytime soon? I haven't seen any rumors or anything. I'm hoping it will open back up before my next trip in Feb.

They opened it in December, I hope they open it up for July 3,4. I have theme park view, so OK either way.

Since you seem up to date on this - assuming it's open for some future trip- I'm a family of 5. Obviously I can go wander up there as my little group of 5. If we have guests, do you know the cutoff? Us + 1? Us +4, etc. By chance do you know if the numbers are the same for that upstairs room at the Imagination pavillion?

The TOTWL is the member and those staying in the room with them.

The Member Lounge in Epcot is the member and up to 5 guests.

The Outdoor balcony was Open for the NYE fireworks , etc but I don’t think the lounge was Open. I was a DVC Member guest
And wasn’t interested without the Chocolate Cake.
I wonder why they continue to keep the outdoor viewing area closed for DVC guests. I understand thatDVC BLT does not technically include the lounge but the outdoor balcony could be a legal argument worth following.

Depends on how the TOTWL space is described in the legal documents that carve it out as commercial space, I guess. If that balcony area is legally described as being part of the TOTWL, not much room for a challenge. Do you have an attorney friend who could read those documents and tell you?
