Because of the hurricane the lounge at BLT is open for everyone also non-members.

So now is the time if you aren't a member to go visit.

Not sure I'd want to be up there if the winds are strong or if there is an increased chance of a power outage.

I wouldn't worry about the power. According to CM's and other guests Disney is on their own grid with their own generators.

Don't know if the lounge is open today for everyone as it was yesterday.

If there is any risk hurricane wise I don't think the lounge will be open at all.

There will be a point during the storm when the resort will close all public areas and tell the guests to stay in their rooms.

Disney does have it's own generation station, it runs on natural gas I believe. It only powers about 1/4 of the power that Disney needs to operate.

I guess they don’t need quite as much now that the parks are closed.
