I have a 7-month old and hate my diaper bags well I don't hate my coach bag but it is too heavy and bulky for disney and I have a daiper dude which just disgusts me.

I am wanting a tote bag and not a diaper bag. Does anyone have a bag they just love that I could use as a diaper bag.

TIA.Oh I want it lightweight and not diaperbag looking. LOL.

I am thinking possibly something by Vera Bradley or like that.

Vera Bradley sells a diaper bag that is really cute. They also sell a messenger bag and a Miller bag that I've had friends use a diaper bags. Check out the site. I think many of the retired colors are 25%+ off now too.

I used my Bagglini and my tote/diaper bag with DS (13 months) during our trip in late May. It worked very well, and I always had plenty of space. Plus, if it got wet, it dryed quickly.

I've turned several different totebags or backpacks (nothing particularly exciting) into diaper bags by putting a few diapers, wipes, and a changing pad inside one of those easy-zip freezer bags. Then when you head to the bathroom to do the change, you can easily grab it and not be fumbling for things. And if a blowout occurs, you have a ziplock bag ready to use for the dirty clothes. :)

My husband has a diaper dude -- I don't really use it, but I don't like the changing pad that came with it (too thin).

I have a Petunia Pickle Bottom bag. I don't like the fabric. I love the pattern, but because it is a silky brocade the fabric gets snagged really easily on my jewelry. They have a new fabric out -- called "waxy" and it feels more like a vinyl so it would probably wear better. The problem is since it is new it probably isn't going to be on sale..

I bought a cute tote bag from Sears. It is one of the Lands' End totes. It has two outside pockets that bottles fit well in. It has an inside zippered pocket and pouch area that is good for my phone/keys/money... It was around $30. Because my son is such a big boy for 7 months, I also bought a patemm pad to keep in the tote.

The only downside with the tote is that is doesn't hang off the stroller the way the Diaper Dude and the Petunia bags do.

Good Luck! Diaper bag searches are very frustrating. (And if you love handbags the way I do -- they can be very addicting!)

I usually use a clear backpack for the Diaper bag. That way when I have to change some mess I can just reach in and grab n go. Not to mention it helps getting through the entrance gate a lot faster.:cool1:

not the most designer looking but I am there to play. :thumbsup2
They have them at walmart for $10.00. Comes in Pink and black. I got the Pink to match my daughters. :lovestruc

I was going to recommend the regular Vera Bradley tote. Smaller than the diaper bag, but still plenty big for what you need. And very comfortable hanging on your shoulder, as well.

Another thought...you could use a regular backpack. Having both arms free is always nice.

thanks everyone. I am going to go and look at the Vera Bradley bags at my local store. I may even check out the clear backpack though that isn't my favorite type of bag.

Timbuk2 is my favorite bag. I am a Fleurville lover, but those bags just haven't been cutting it to carry a everything for travel.

Here's a pic of one I have, my favorite. I also have a metro messenger that is great for a little diaper bag or park purse. You can also customize your colors and make it "your own".
