Totally missed sending in my ME info!

Yes - darn work - so caught up I missed sending in my ME information - now I have to get my luggage with the 4 kids in tow. ugh.

Thank goodness we're there for 10 days and I can recover

Yikes!! I had no idea there was a "deadline" to give ME info....

You should still be able to do it. I get mine by ups in about 3 days and I'm in Canada. Just call ms and tell them to rush it.

THERE'S ALWAYS TIME!!!!! I actually booked a last minute trip to SSR for a business conference held at the Hilton in Downtown Disney since the Hilton was booked. (Boy did I luck out, same price and much better hotel) I made the ME ressie using the DVC website but since I paid cash that didn't go through and I didn't realize until I logged in the night before my trip to print my boarding pass. They told me to call ME directly and even if you don't have Disney tags on your luggage - you can give them you claim receipts at the ME desk before you get on the ME bus and they can pick up you luggage the old fashioned way. No sense lugging it if you don't have to. Have a great trip.

You should have time, at least get registered...others have posted that even if you don't get the tags you can give them the claim tickets and have them pick up the luggage....

But, usually they will rush it to you.....I had trouble with one MS rep who said they wouldn't send out tags (we needed extras) because it was less than 11 days, I asked for a manager, she came back and said they would try. Even if they don't get there, at least you tried.

Can't you just hand the ME people your baggage claim tags for them to get your luggage? I thought that you could. Please correct me if I am wrong.

yes, you still can. This past August my daughter didn't have a flight booked until exactly 1 week before arrival date. I called and added ME. We didn't have any of the paperwork before hand but her name was in the system. She just went to the desk gave her name and they took care of everything. She did get her own luggage but she would have done that even if she had the tags..control issues with that child. Anyhow, they asked for her tags and said they would get the suitcases but since she already had them she declined.

We've always prefered to bring our own suitcases to the ME desk...this way it arrives at the resort the same time we do...not 3-4 hrs later. But with 4 kids in tow I understand your pain.
