No, seriously, this has got to be the funniest thread i've seen in ages. Esmerelda, you rock!! And by the way, is that a white mustache I saw in your picture?

Ssssshhhhh!

It wasn't me!

;)

Loubon - That picture is adorable/creepy and funny all at the same time!

I'm heading home from *gasp* work now!

I can't even imagine what new milk jokes will be added here when I check again later from home! I am trying to get a group of people here to wear "Got Milk?" t-shirts on Friday! :teeth:

:wave2:

Change that to "I've got your milk"! :teeth:

EsmeraldaX - What's your work address?? I'll send a bunch of green felt tip pens your way. Along with my cow bell.

:D

I may have the wrong poster in mind, but if not perhaps the milk thief is an employee who enjoys eating animal crackers instead of animals. Maybe the milk isn't being taken for the purpose of drinking or dunking, but rather for disposal! Hmm.....:scratchin

I will now proceed to kick you in the shin until you are off the crack...

Quit...(kick) picking...(kick) on lovely Esmeralda....(kick)
(kick, kick, kick)
And...(kick) stop smoking... (kick) the crack!!! (kick, kick, kick, kick)

Okay, now don't you feel better about yourself?

Feeling a wee bit aggressive today?

JayBee has a good point, even though it's OT to stealing from refrigerators in the workplace. While we really don't know if Esmeralda's boss condones her internet use, I cannot imagine any company approving of an employee taking the time to read the DIS and formulate 60-75 posts per day during regular working hours. It's not a huge leap to associate her previously stated unhappiness at work with her excessive internet use. Chicken or egg? Who knows {{srug}}? I understand your (and others) desire to stand up and protect Esmerelda, but sometimes friends need to tell the truth too. Even when it's painful. Things at work may get much worse for Esmerelda if her boss is not as understanding about internet use as many here think s/he may be.

Why is it that anyone thinks it is their business what Esmeralda or anyone else does or doesn't do at work?

Worry about your own self and get over it! Geez!

I have stayed out of this, but I have to agree with Cebhfhionn here. This post had nothing to do with her position in the company, work ethics, raises, promotions, etc. Without knowing 100% of the facts I don't know why anyone would feel it their right to judge her.

Ok, I can't take it anymore. I confess I did it. I did it! I'll replace it, I will. I'll replace it with a gallon if you want. I'm sorrrrryyyyy.

You don't have anyone named Laverne or Shirley in your office who might possibly have stolen the milk to drink with their Pepsi, do you?

To the posters who feel compelled to talked about Esmerelds's work habits rather than the interesting mystery of the milk bandit and resulting hilarity, could you please maybe start a new post? You can have it all to yourselves and I'm sure someone will come along and argue with you so you can still be happy. Thanks!

Esmerelda makes it our business when she talks about her work and her feelings about her work in a public internet BB.

But she's not doing that on this thread. I've never even heard of Esmerelda before and now I know more about her work life than I ever wanted...all because of a thread about stolen milk. It's very surreal.

True - it's turned into a bit of a sour milk thread, hasn't it?

Anyhow Esmerelda, I can't wait to hear the next episode in the saga, unfortunately I'm 5 hours ahead of you here, so it'll be afternoon before I find out!

I'm just ignoring all the stupid stuff in this thread.

We had food thieves at my old job. I think it's unbelievable, but hey, that's just because I could never imagine doing it myself.

My old boss used to take snacks out of my drawer and leave me with empty boxes.

I can't wait to find out how this turns out.

And as far as work ethics (yeah, I said I was going to ignore it, but I'm not), she SAID it's a slow time. I'm sure there is no time for large quantities of posts when things are busy.

I have no internet access at work yet, but when i get it, you can bet when my boss leaves early and I have nothing to do, I'll be here. It sure beats playing freecell.

Even Longer Thread!

Still don't know who stole the Milk?

Note to self - Never read an oogieboogie response while taking a drink! Now I'll have to clean up my desk. I can't decide if I should be saying "Ewwwww!!!!" or ROTFLMBO!!!! :teeth:
