Total Universal Newbie with friend who wants help...

I have a friend who contacted me about Universal Studios pricing/tips/etc because she knows I'm a Disneyholic. I told her I know very little about Universal compared to WDW but would do what I could to find some info about it.

So, what websites, general info, etc would you all suggest to send her just to give her a starting off point to planning?

Any help would mean a lot! Thanks in advance!

seriously - I know what you mean - I had the same thoughts,

but coming here, reading all the FAQ and the sticky threads, with a notebook at my side, I have a great plan!

and any questions along the way - there was someone so willing to jump in and help!

Also, I recommend the book Universal Orlando by Seth Kubersky and the website Orlandoinformer.com ( there is a fee for the service though)

themeparkinsider.com has some good touring plans and tips, but this site is BY FAR the best site. And I do a TON of research before going.

read the stickies, threads of interest to you about the pricing and tips, and don't forget to read some of the trip reports.

many homies put a lot of detail into the trippies that help others that are learning the ropes.
