My daughter has the folowing question...

How much more scary is TOT than Rock n Rollercoaster?

I rode RNC with my dad last year and I loved it! But I'm a little scared about TOT.:scared1:

ToT is FUN! The ride itself seems about as thrilling as RnRC...

But Tower of Terror has a kind of spooky "Twilight Zone" story attached to it, which may frighten younger riders a bit.

I think you should give it a try!

Neither is scary in my opinion :) But I suppose ToT is a bit worse than RnR, but you don't go upside down on ToT :)

I would say that RnR is more of a pure thrill ride, with a bit of apprehension buildup in the launch area. ToT, on the other hand, in addition to being thrilling (the actual drops) also has a 'scary' story and effects, that could be a bit frightening to some. It really depends on the person as to just 'how' scary it is.

I think the answer to which is scarier comes doen to this: Are you afraid of heights? If the answer is yes, you may want to avoid ToT.

Hey,
I think that you should go on tot because it really gives you a different feeling that rrc. I think the movie and the haunted house effect add alot to the ride. After tot you have this cool feeling in your body that makes you want to go again while on rrc you can really on'y feel your head pounding for 10min after the ride. I think you should no doubt give tot a chance.
have a good time,

You just can't compare these two rides, they are so different from each other.

That said; I dearly love ToT, and can do it repeatedly.

I did RnR just once, and that's enough. I felt a bit sick for an hour afterwards. It didn't ruin my day, though. This one was just too physically overwhelming; as soon as it took off, I wanted it to be over.

I found Tower of Terror more frightening because the large drop gives me a stronger sensation than the rollercoster loops and there's more build up to the drop.

Like Claudia, I just do RnR once. I used to do it several times in a row, but am more sensitive now to being jolted around (I know, it's a smooth coaster, but I have migraines that are brought on by having my head banged around so I have to be very careful).

I love ToT! We did it 5 times when I brought my 4yo last month. I didn't know if he would be scared by the spookiness or the drops, but he wasn't scared and loved the dropping sensation. On his second or third time I could hear him laughing. It's a fun ride and the atmoshere is wonderful.
