Ok, how scary is ToT? I plan to ride it for the first time with my DH in a few months. I am 31 :p but a huge chicken. I am a little nervous on RnRc, but not enough to stay off because I love it. I won't ride ANYTHING at 6 flags that has a height requirement! One reason for that is I just do not trust 6 Flags like I do Disney & those rides have no atmosphere, just thrills. There has to be something more for me than fear. So do you think I will like it? :wave2:

Maybe it's just my personality, but I really didn't think TOT was scary. I felt like I was flying and I loved it. If your not into the whole flying sensation you might have some issues with it. Even if you are "chicken", I say - try it anyway. If you don't like it, you never have to ride again, and you will end up back safely on the ground when it's over. If you do like it, it's an awesome experience :teeth:

I agree that if you can ride RnRC you can ride ToT.

I LOVE roller coasters, the wilder the better, yet I am usually not a fan of rides that don't go anyplace (like ToT). During our last trip there were no lines at ToT so I told DH we should do it just for the heck of it.

Well....let me tell you that I now LOVE, LOVE, LOVE ToT! It was such fun and the whole ambience of it makes it so worthwhile. I was a bit sad that we walked right on because it would have been fun looking at all the details while waiting in line.

DH is just starting to enjoy roller coaster and hates heights so ToT was not high on his list of things to do. After having done it though he agreed that it was fun and that he'd do it again.

You should give it a try! We did it at night and it was amazing looking out at the park when the doors open, before you drop.

:)

Hubby and I loved this ride and rode it serveral times while we were there. I love the ambience so much that we let others go ahead of us just so we could look at everything. It's well worth the wait!:teeth:

Absolutely my favorite ride anywhere. I agree with the previous poster that it's like flying. It's just sssooooooo much fun. I was a little scared my first time, but immediately got in line and went for another ride. You will love it !!::yes::

Great Ride. Don't miss it. We went on it for the first time this past Christmas with my 4 year old and my 7 year old. I love roller coaster, but was thinking hmmmm. I had a blast. You will love it.

I'm the biggest chicken in the world and I love Tower of Terror. i won't ride the similar ride at California Adventure... that takes you to the top and drops you, or anything like that at other parks (like Six Flags) but I'll ride ToT. SOmething about the themeing and stuff, its not scary to me. Weird, I know. I won't do roller coasters usually either, but love Rockin Rollercoaster... maybe it's that Disney magic =) We're doing Universal too this time around and I know I'll sit out almost all their rides, LOL.

You can def handle it. Its SOOOOOOOOO much fun!!!!!!! And the themeing is awesome. Great ride!!!!!! Our fave!!!!!!

The only rides I can imagine you sitting out on because of this at Universal are Hulk and Dueling Dragons, and possibly BttF. Spider-man, MIB, and Mummy (if open) are borderlines, but should be done because they're all spectacular (Assumption on Mummy.)

As for ToT, my theory is that everything should be done at least once. If you like it, great! Id you don't like it, you don't have to do it ever again.

Ok, I'm psyched. I'm gonna do it! ARGGGHHHH! :wave2: Seriously, thanks for all the encouragement! I will definitely do it this time!::yes::

Thanks for the advice, Slacking! I was scared I'd go and just sit the whole time... I'll just steer clear of those big roller coasters =) I've heard Spiderman is incredible =)

:Pinkbounc I'm so glad you decided to do it! I hope you love it as much as I do :teeth:. Be sure to take the time to enjoy the hotel too, it's beautiful, I wish I could live in it (even with the dust)! Let us know how you like it.

I love coasters but was a bit wary of TOT because of the straight-down drops. Though I was hesitant, I rode anyway because I am a Twilight Zone fan and just had to see it for myself. It was my favorite ride in all of the World!!! I absolutely loved it. It was a lot of fun and the theming IMO is just incredible, so cool! I can't wait to go back and ride it again!
