ToT 'Late Checkout'

We are planning on visiting Jan 2 for the last day of ToT. I was wondering if they are offering fast passes during the 'after dark' part as well and if so, how quick they are going. Any advice/tips would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

They are doing fastpasses for the entire time the ride is open. Be prepared to get the immediately on the last day. How quick they have been going recently will have no bearing on how fast they will go on that day.

I didn't think they were doing FPs for the late check out?

There's also a party on that night, too. I was wanting to go to it but just couldn't swing it.

They weren't at first but now they're just doing fastpasses for the whole day and late checkout starts at dark.

I believe the last day is January 1st. I am going to the TOT party and that is on January 1st.

The only party is the 1st, but the actual final day is the 2nd. It will be closed starting the 3rd.

This is correct. We did late check out yesterday because we pulled a fast pass with a 6:20 time on it and the fast pass said "late check out" on it even.

Late checkout was really fun. I didn't think it would be a big deal but it was a lot of fun.

Sometime around lunch time. I don't recall the time but it was a good 4 or more hours before our return time.

We pulled a TOT FP today at 12:40 and the return time was 5:45...it was late checkout. I agree with the poster above, it was really fun!
