Hi all,

My wife and I are on the 7 day Disney Treasure this April and we were looking through the excursions for our port days.

Has anyone done the

Canopy Tour Zipline and Scenic Drive (TT46)?

I'm worried that since it's only 3 to 3.5 hours long that we'll have nothing else to do on Tortola. I'd imagine we'd leave ~9 am and not come back till 12-1pm ish and that'd still leave us 3 or so hours on the island. What else could we do during this time? Is the zipline tour worth it?

On St. Thomas we really want a great snorkeling day. We're leaning towards the St. John Champagne Catamaran Sail & Snorkel (ST21). All the threads seem to say good things about it. Any thoughts? It's rather that or Discover Scuba Diving (ST41).

Thanks for the help everyone!!

Just did the St. John champagne catamaran sail and snorkel last month. Was a great day. I wouldn’t hesitate to book it again.

We’ve done the baths on Tortola, which we loved. Our next trip to Tortola, we are planning on doing the catamaran to virgin gorda. I have heard great things about this excursion, but it seems to book up very fast.

I have done both of these excursions! The ziplining one in Tortola, I loved it so much I've done it again on subsequent sailings. It a great experience, the staff is wonderful, and you get amazing views. If you are interested I highly recommend it. I also like that it's not a full day excursion so you have time to explore. You'll see the usual shopping at port, but behind the shops are a few small huts that have a more local vibe. One of them makes the most amazing burgers, and another one is just a little bar but they make amazing drinks. If nothing else, you can get back on the ship after your excursion and it'll be less crowded!

I also enjoyed the St. John champagne catamaran snorkel excursion. It was a beautiful ride over to St. John, and the water and sealife were gorgeous. The catamaran ride on the way back is also very nice, and they had snacks and drinks. I'd recommend that one too.

cvjw, did you do a DCL excursion to the Baths? I’ve heard that’s it’s not that hard to DIY, but I usually prefer the official excursion.

Thanks!

Thanks for the reply! For the zipline is there an easy way for us to go from zipline -> beach area you think?

The zipline excursion will bring you right back to the port area. I've never been to the beach in Tortola, but I'd imagine you'd be able to grab a cab pretty easily from the port area.
