several places were totally destroyed. Its horrifying to see the film from teh storm chases.

I'm in IL and we got hammered pretty hard. I am about 6 hours from Nashville. My cousin is down there but she is okay..

My fiance lives pretty close to where the tornados were. He's 100% ok though.

I live on the East coast, and there was a small tornado that damaged a couple signs and no power last night. Everyone is ok!

Part of my family lives in Northwestern TN. Hey Sparx, do you happen to know the situation around Union City and Sharon if you've ever heard of those two places?

I don't know anyone in Tennessee, but I do have a friend in Georgia, I think GA got hit with some bad weather too.

Hope everything is okay :grouphug:

Yeah, I live in Grainger County. The rain I loved, but the hail and the threat of tornadoes... not so much. It was scary. Everyone was huddled around mom (I was in a chair reading - POA) and watching the news. The hail didn't do any damage, though, and everyone here was fine!

Sorry. I've not heard anything about it. Which is probably a good thing. Nashville and where I live have been all over the news with damage. if they're not all over it, nothing bad probably happened. I'll try to find out for you though.

I was born in Tennessee, but I live elsewhere now.

why don't you try to get in contact with them? It was bad in nashville, mostly a little bit north of it. there were several storms, and my town got hit twice. Only one bad one went through nashville, to my knowledge and the nasvhille based news stations never went out, but it was pretty bad in nashville itself.

Try to get in contact with them.

Hope everyone you know is okay. :grouphug:
