I can not find a website or info online about renting points through timeshare store. Do I need to call?

Wow that's tough. We have only stayed at an AKL studio and OKW. We liked both very much. Would you be staying at Kidani or Jambo? AKL has the perk of the animals which is amazing. And OKW has the perk of the boat to DTD. AKL is a lot smaller and OKW is HUGE!!!

Boardwalk = the boardwalk itself, walk to EPCOT, HS, Beach Club, Yacht Club

(if your into all of these things I would choose this)

AoA = its new, its very popular and you can walk over to POP.

I picked OKW just from personal experience...but if you think you would spend a lot of time on the boardwalk/EPCOT/HS - then I think thats your choice

Have a great trip to the world wherever you go!!!

I think BWV based on location alone. The quick walk to DHS and Ecpot is priceless.

We'd be at Kidani...what is the difference between the two?

And, I just found out that BWV has no availability, so that's no longer an option :/

I sent you a PM with contact email. I have used them three times and very happy.

I just booked for January BWV through them, Good Luck!!

I just saw this and people at work are wondering why I am laughing at my desk. :lmao: I voted for AoA, knowing your situation. Not surprised that the deluxes are beating it though. :goodvibes

I was wondering if you'd see this. It's interesting...and the points you made on the other thread are very valid, and I'm taking them to heart.

I swear I wasn't stalking you, just happened to see it. :) You are going to have an AMAZING trip no matter where you stay. We stayed offsite last year and still had a great time. I can't wait to see where you end up.

I would always go for a DVC/Deluxe option over a value, especially if there are only adults in the party. December is a great time of year for decorations in the resorts, and the deluxes typically have MUCH better decorations than the values and moderates. I voted for BWV, but then saw you posted that it's not available. I've heard AKL looks amazing during the season. Plus like you said it's a great price for the AKL.
All that being said, Disney has so many resorts because everyone has different tastes and I would say these two are very different. One is more kitschy and fun, with the themed rooms. The other will have a more subdued, natural beauty, and won't be as Disney character themed. If you spend a lot of time at the resorts think about the pools, restaurants, etc. Which is a better fit for you?
Good luck with your decision but remember you can't make a wrong one-you'll be in Disney and having a great time no matter where you sleep at night!

I would opt for a deluxe over a value. The amenities are a plus and they are all very nicely themed. As for your deluxe choices, I have stayed at BWV and AKV. We liked both, but AKV is the hands down favorite. It is the most unique resort we have stayed at. I could spend most of my vacation just watching the animals and the resorts (Jambo and Kidani) make you feel as if you have truly left the amusement parks and gone to a savannah.
