Top Secret Pixie Dust! A Surprise 13th Birthday PTR! NEW! TRIP REPORT LINK PAGE 220!

I haven't watched any yet, but the kids obviously were up for the first game. I decked it last night while I Dis'ed. No TV out there. In fact - that's about the only place in the house that doesn't have a TV since Denny is a TV addict!

But now that you told me about the real safari pictures you have peaked my interest and maybe I can catch a game today.

Well, according to Charles, you HAVE to watch the USA/England game at 2:30 today! That's what he keeps telling me at any rate.

My husband says the same thing...he had to go get a haricut and I had to set the DVR just in case he doesn't get back in time. I am not a big soccer fan so I will be Dising and cleaning during the game. It is going to be a long month since Jason is a HUGE futball fan. He loved living in England for 3 yrs b/c that is all he watched along with cricket...since he grew up playing both. Anyways...have a good day watching the game.

Chelsea looks great in the new glasses!:thumbsup2 And what a great incentive to wear them with the promise of contacts in future -good thinking Mom!;)

Too funny about Charles and A Whole New World!

Jackie, we watched the late parade, (11:00) in Frontierland. Minimal crowd. We were just across the street from the Country Bears Jamboree. Great spot for viewing! We happened to be there because we had done a couple of walk-ons or shall we say run-ons of BTMRR before the park closed. It was so much fun seeing a new parade! :thumbsup2

It was a very exciting game! I am glad the USA was able to tie it!

Thanks! I am hoping the allure of contacts works!

It is a really neat parade! I can't wait to see it again! The music and all the floats have always been one of my fondest childhood memories!

Before I start with the Edible Wishes List, I thought I would share what I found at the grocery store this morning.

Toy Story Lemonade Swirl ice cream by Edy’s! The description on the container says it is a light vanilla ice cream with swirls of lemon sorbet. We haven’t tried it yet since we ate at my parents’ tonight and had key lime pie for dessert, but if it is as good as Edy’s other flavors (of which we are huge fans), it will be delicious!

The back was so cute, I had to take a picture of that, too.

Now, without further ado, here are a few of the edible Disney treats we are looking forward to eating in just five weeks!

Mickey Waffles! We’ll be having those a couple of mornings from the CBR food court.
MickeyWaffles.jpg

Dole Whips! Maybe while waiting for the Main Street Electrical Parade to start?
DoleWhip.jpg

Charles has been craving fudge, so we will pick some different ones from the Main Street Confectionary.
DisneyFudge.jpg

A Mickey ice cream bar will be a necessity in the heat we are sure to encounter.
MickeyIceCreamBars.jpg

I would like to try the school bread or a cloudberry horn in Norway.
SchoolBread.jpg

This little beauty is a must-have from the Kusafari Bakery in the Animal Kingdom -- a zebra cupcake!
ZebraCupcake.jpg

If we make it over to Beaches and Cream, I would like to attempt the Kitchen Sink.
KitchenSink.jpg

However, if everyone else has different ideas, I have a back-up plan, a butterscotch sundae.
ButterscotchSundae.jpg

Of course, what would a Charleston Princess trip be without some yummy grown-up libations?

I have my eye on a Yak Attack at Yak and Yeti.
YakAttackDrink.jpg

Charles is sure to want another Grey Goose slushie in France, and I would like to try a Pomegranate Kir.
GreyGoose.jpg

And I know somewhere near the Dawa Bar there is a Lost in Safari that wants me to find it!

Last, but not least, I guess we should probably eat some real food while we are at Disney.

I am looking forward to the fried chicken at Primetime Café.
PrimetimeFriedChicken.jpg

I know there is some cheddar cheese soup with my name on it.
CheddarCheeseSoup.jpg

I have been dreaming of the cannelloni at Tutto Italia since we had it in October.

Eating at Disney is one of my favorite things to do! Can’t wait to be back there sampling all the yumminess!

That is what I always get there only I do not like the green beans there so I substitute for double potatoes.

Thank goodness some adult libations made it on your list! :upsidedow As soon as I started reading, I was thinking about Lost on Safari. Definitely on my must try list!

You have also put the cannelloni on my list. :thumbsup2

I really hope you attempt the kitchen sink!! :worship:

Overall, I'm with you on just about every item other than the school bread... that just doesn't appeal to me.

I agree, eating at WDW is one of the best parts of vacation!! :yay:

Mmmmmm what a delicious update!!!
I didn't see that ice cream today at the store.....although I wasn't looking ;) I opted for some Hagen Daz Banana Split....haven't tried it yet, although I may since I am getting anxious awaiting Anita's TR :rotfl2: Does she realize it is almost 10pm?
I have never seen the zebra cupcake....it is so pretty!!
You should also make a stop at Starring Rolls and check out the banana and chocolate mousse thing...okay that is enough talk about bananas....I am cracking open that ice cream!! :lmao:

Your Edible list should have a warning attached to it. Warning all dieter be aware, danger ahead. This time next week I plan on trying several Edibles on your list.

:rotfl:I got a coupon on the back of my grocery receipt earlier this week, it looks VERY good. Considering one of my favorite desserts is vanilla ice cream with a scoop of Lemon sorbet!!!!! :thumbsup2 It looks cute, too!!!

You have great choices -- I think I might have to try that cannelloni that I have heard a few rave reviews for!

I remember seeing a posting that was sharing the latest desserts in WDW, and a series of cupcakes were included -- like the one you shared!:goodvibes

That was a fun post of all sorts of Disney goodies -- I want to eat now!

I've been wanting to buy EVERYTHING with the Toy Story characters on it. It's very hard to resist at Target. I spent a good 10 minutes in the toy aisle marveling at all of the Toy Story toys. They are so freaking cute. Now I want the ice cream. :rotfl:

That Zebra cupcake looks awesome! Yum.

I really want to try some of your recommended alchoholic beverages. You should compile a list and publish it. Charleston Princess' Guide to Disney Adult Beverages: Drink before Kim Possible Missions. ;)

Oh boy! That Yak Attack looks divine! I will be lost if I attempt one of those on the same day as a "Lost on Safari";)...

That fried chicken from 50's PTC is soooo yummy! I'm going to check on an ADR for July right now!

Super cute! We are watching Toy Story 2 right now.

I think you and the girls need some of that ice cream! ::yes::

My girls both love those Mickey Waffles!

I think waffles just taste better when they are shaped like Mickey!

That is what I always get there only I do not like the green beans there so I substitute for double potatoes.

Good idea! I may have to do that, too!

Me too!

I agree, eating at WDW is one of the best parts of vacation!!

I am on the fence about the school bread, but I would like to get over to Norway -- especially after seeing those sandwiches on Michelle's trip report.

Me too! I am loving it. The Pixar shorts that premier next Sun look interesting too.

Toy Story has always been a big favorite at our house!

Mmmmmm what a delicious update!!!

That sounds good! I almost got some Edy's Banana Split but opted for the Summer Peach Pie one instead (along with the Toy Story one).

I have never seen the zebra cupcake....it is so pretty!!

I found it over on the Disney Food Blog!

They have some really cute Toy Story stuff. Like we have talked about before, I am such a sucker for marketing! Remember my love affair with Indiana Jones M&Ms a couple of years ago? :lmao:

That Zebra cupcake looks awesome! Yum.

That is really something I want to try!

I really want to try some of your recommended alchoholic beverages. You should compile a list and publish it. Charleston Princess' Guide to Disney Adult Beverages: Drink before Kim Possible Missions. ;)

Oh, I would love to write a book about that!!! It's right up my alley! :lmao:

Oh boy! That Yak Attack looks divine! I will be lost if I attempt one of those on the same day as a "Lost on Safari";)...

This is true! I think it will have to be an either/or kind of situation for me -- or a lunch/dinner one! :rotfl:

That fried chicken from 50's PTC is soooo yummy! I'm going to check on an ADR for July right now!

Every time I look at the Primetime menu, that's what I want to eat! :thumbsup2

Well I'm hungry now! :lmao: You've got some great selections there! And that new ice cream sounds yummy! :thumbsup2

 Thanks! We are looking forward to trying out the ice cream tonight!

Looking at all this yummy food makes me hungry....I might have to make breakfast.

Great list of things to eat and drink! ;)

I need to see if I can find that ice cream, I bet the kids (and me) would love it.

I saw that ice cream at the store yesterday. I was only there for a few basics, but I thought I would get it when Brooklynn is here for a few days next week. Edy's is good ice cream, and they have so many flavor choices. :goodvibes

Key lime pie at home sounds delicious, and all of your food pictures were awesome. Food is a huge part of a Disney trip!

That is what I always get there only I do not like the green beans there so I substitute for double potatoes.

I'm not fond of Disney green beans, either, so I asked them to substitute corn.
