Top Secret Pixie Dust! A Surprise 13th Birthday PTR! NEW! TRIP REPORT LINK PAGE 220!

I love your list and my dd loves the picture of your beloved giraffes. Looking forward to seeing all your pictures of the Main Street Electrical Parade. This is the parade I saw when my parents took me when I was 6 (which was the last time I was at WDW :scared1:).

Jackie, I love your Wishes list!! Looks so great!

My list is very similar to yours. I agreed to this trip mainly because I was so excited about the parade!!!

As for resorts, we really wanted BC, but with the short notice, only 2 nights were available. SO we are doing 3 nights at SSR, 2 nights at BC smack dab in the middle and 2 nights at Kidani Village...yikes! 3 changes!!! We are wait listed for the whole trip at BC, and BWV so hopefully it comes through.:woohoo:

I need to go back down just to do all those cool things you listed!!!! Sum of All Thrills I wished I had known about that, sounds amazing...hopefully there in October!!!

Captain EO, Main Street Electrical Parade, and new Fireworks...are you sure I can't come with you LOL!!!!!

Yes I think a Grey Goose Slushie is needed when any Kim Possible missions start up!!!!!

You are going to have the most amazing trip!!! So excited for you Jackie!

Holy cow, Chelsea looks young in that picture with Bo.

Oooooh, tell me about the new effects at ToT! I really want to go back to DHS. I haven't rode ToT since 1997. I chickened out on our honeymoon in 1999 and Chad has never let me live it down! I have ridden it about 4 times, but I seriously had a panic attack in 99. :lmao: I had to go down the chicken elevator! :rotfl2:

LOL!! Everytime I see a pic of Chelsea and Bo I get so tickled!! So cute!

Great list!
Captain EO is on my list as well. I'm hoping the MSEP stays around past August 14th.

And very smart to have a beverage for the KP missions. Maybe a Grey Goose slushie?

I can't wait to see the edible version. Will that one have adult beverages?

Riding the Tower of Terror at night for the new special effects. (This is more for Charles and Chelsea).
TowerofTerrorNight.jpg

this can be for me, too! :rotfl: i really want to see what they're gonna do since it's my favorite ride. i'm really hoping it will be hugely popular and they'll make the changes permanent so i can see them when we return next year.

Great list Jackie! Those are on our list too (except CBR pool) but mine seems so much longer. I keep worrying about how to fit it all in...I guess I should say I keep worrying about what we aren't going to fit in.:sad2:

Are you going to use your Bo card to tell Chelsea about CBR or did you tell her? I can't remember reading if she knows any specifics yet.

Awesome!! :thumbsup2

Thanks, Katie!

I am so happy you get to visit your giraffes!

I forgot Captain EO will be at WDW, it was just opening at DL when we were there but we didn't see it. Sum of all thrills is on my list, we've never done that either!

Great list

I feel like I should make sure we see Captain EO, but it's not one of those that I will be crushed if we miss.

I didn't even really think about The Sum of All Thrills until I read Mary Ellen's trip update yesterday.

WAIT!! What are these new effects on TOT? Bad me for not knowing about my favorite ride.....:sad2:

Charles said they probably just installed a new strobe light.

I did see a FB update today and it showed a sneak peak of the Electrical Parade....wow did that bring back memories!! The music :lovestruc You are so lucky and I am happy you get to experience it again :goodvibes

I am pretty excited. There was a Disney Parks Blog video posted yesterday that really made me excited!

Walking through your lovely Africa? Is that why you posted a picture of the bar that serves LOS? :rotfl2:

Tracy

:lmao: Yep, but since, technically, the LOS should be on the edible list, I just went with Africa on this one. ;)

MSEP, fireworks, hanging out with giraffes. Sounds like an awesome vacation to me.

All of my favorite things! :goodvibes

The girls LOVED SOAT. This needs to be a must! The line does get really long, though. I would go here right after Soarin', if somebody doesn't want to do SOAT then send that person can go get FPs for TT. We did this in November and it worked out nicely. :thumbsup2

Great tip! Thank you! That's exactly what we will plan on doing!

Great list of Non-Edible Wishes, it is a nice balance between old and new. I can't wait to see the light parade again. I am thinking about going over to the MK the day we arrive and enjoying the old and the new of the parade and remembering.

You'll be seeing it very, very soon! I really want to head to MK to see the parade our first night, but for some reason, it is not running that Sunday! The only night in July it's not running, so I hope they add it back in!

Very nice list. I only :scared1:ed on this one.

Yeah, those "ride" vehicles with the visors kind of freak me out!

It so much fun to make plans for all of the many things you can do and see on a Disney trip! Even with ten nights, we won't have time to do everything we want to do. We start talking about what we already know we're doing, and it begins to fill up blocks of time. Plus, we want plenty of swim time in the July heat.

I think summer Disney vacations should be two full weeks. :cool1:

I agree! I don't know how we will fit everything in since we are only going to be there for six days!

I love your list and my dd loves the picture of your beloved giraffes. Looking forward to seeing all your pictures of the Main Street Electrical Parade. This is the parade I saw when my parents took me when I was 6 (which was the last time I was at WDW :scared1:).

I will take lots of pics!!! It takes me right back to being a kid whenever I see any of the floats or hear the music.

See...that's what I like about Charles. He at least shows some sense now and then!

Your non-edible wishes list looks awesome!

Every now and then Charles shows some sense. It's not often.

Awww, I feel so special.

I am SHOCKED to see Kim Possible on the list. I think refreshments are needed for you to do this again. :thumbsup2

You should feel special! :rotfl:

Well, I know how much Connor loves his Kim Possible missions -- we have Mexico, China, and I think Germany left. I am thinking there must be something I can drink while we are doing those. ;)

Jackie, I love your Wishes list!! Looks so great!

My list is very similar to yours. I agreed to this trip mainly because I was so excited about the parade!!!

The parade is an awfully big draw!!! ::yes::

Wow! That is a lot of moving! I hope your waitlist comes through!

I hadn't even known about the Sum of All Thrills until I read Mary Ellen's update yesterday!

Captain EO, Main Street Electrical Parade, and new Fireworks...are you sure I can't come with you LOL!!!!!

Won't you be in the middle of your big move to Texas? :(

Yes I think a Grey Goose Slushie is needed when any Kim Possible missions start up!!!!!

::yes:: Or something similar.

You are going to have the most amazing trip!!! So excited for you Jackie!

Thanks, Jen! It's exactly six weeks away today!

Holy cow, Chelsea looks young in that picture with Bo.

Can you believe that was just this time last year!?!?

Great list! Further proof that you can never have "done it all" at WDW. :goodvibes

That's one of the things I love about Disney! There is always something new to look forward to seeing!

Oooooh, tell me about the new effects at ToT! I really want to go back to DHS. I haven't rode ToT since 1997. I chickened out on our honeymoon in 1999 and Chad has never let me live it down! They are keeping the new effects pretty hush, hush -- just something about new effects and drop sequences. I am curious as to what they are. I haven't ridden it since 1998 when it would just drop the one time.

LOL!! Everytime I see a pic of Chelsea and Bo I get so tickled!! So cute!

She's so funny where Bo is concerned. :goodvibes

Great list!
Captain EO is on my list as well. I'm hoping the MSEP stays around past August 14th.

You know, I don't think I ever saw Captain EO the first time around.

And very smart to have a beverage for the KP missions. Maybe a Grey Goose slushie?

It's the only way I will get through more of those missions. ;)

I can't wait to see the edible version. Will that one have adult beverages?

Oh, yes! I have a feeling the edible version will be very long!

this can be for me, too! :rotfl: i really want to see what they're gonna do since it's my favorite ride. i'm really hoping it will be hugely popular and they'll make the changes permanent so i can see them when we return next year.

I am curious to see what the changes are going to be -- from what I have read, they will only be in effect at night, but I could be wrong. We may be riding it in your honor on your actual birthday since I have DHS tentatively planned for the 18th when we arrive. :thumbsup2

Awww, can't you guys design a mild one that you can all enjoy?
(Then they can do it again and make a throw-up version for themselves!)

Congrats on SIX WEEKS!! :woohoo: :yay:

Kathy

Thanks, Kathy!

Maybe. I am not a big fan of feeling closed in, and the pictures of the ride vehicles make me a little claustrophobic. I will gladly volunteer to go get Fast Passes for something.

GREAT list!! I know you must be getting soooo excited!! :goodvibes

Very!!! Six weeks seems far away and close at the same time.

Great list Jackie! Those are on our list too (except CBR pool) but mine seems so much longer. I keep worrying about how to fit it all in...I guess I should say I keep worrying about what we aren't going to fit in.:sad2:

I tried to keep the list relatively short so I don't feel like we didn't do everything we wanted. There is always so much I want to do when we are there, but I think the heat and the crowds are going to be limiting factors.

Are you going to use your Bo card to tell Chelsea about CBR or did you tell her? I can't remember reading if she knows any specifics yet.

Yes, I am going to use the card to tell her all about the trip. Which reminds me -- I need to order that soon. :thumbsup2

It was on MEK's that I first heard about it too and it sounds amazing!!!!

I will hopefully be already moved, but because they want me to teach AP I will most likely have some training I need to do!! I wish I could sneak away though LOL!!!! I would let you go have your drink in peace and do the KP mission with Connor and Chelsea!

Do you have to do gifted training to teach AP? In Georgia, AP teachers have to be gifted endorsed.

I would gladly hand over the Kimmunicator to you!

Nope just have to attend the AP training which is about a week long! I'm looking forward though to teaching honors kids and after a few years being endorsed to teach AP I might get to teach more AP classes which would be a lot of fun!! I'm very excited about this job!!

And I would gladly take it! I meant to do one on my own when I went but I chickened out LOL!! I think it would be a ton of fun watching Connor and Chelsea catch the villains!

You will adore working with the honors kids! They are so neat!

Connor becomes quite bossy when he is on a mission! :lmao:

You know, I don't think I ever saw Captain EO the first time around.

I wonder how long it will be at WDW. My brother, SIL, and nephews saw it at DL in August. My nephew loved it. I'm kind of surprised actually. He's asking to see it again in Augsut.

How many KP missions is Connor interested in doing this year?
Maybe you can get a different adult beverage for each mission. Drinking around the World with KP ;)
