I just got the summer issue of the DVC member magazine and came across something that might interest you:

"This summer, pirates will invade Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort on a weekly basis. Tuesdays, to be precise. Resort Cast, Guests, and Members will strap on their eye patches, practice their "ARRR's" and play a veritable treasure trove of pirate games while a DJ spins poolside tunes."

Congrats on your last day....Megan's too! I just can't believe it is already here...this year has gone so incredibly fast, and it has been the longest by days out of all of them! Go figure!

It has flown by -- I can't believe it has been almost a year since my family was at AKL!

My creativity vein has run dry.....sorry can't come up with anything cute for the card, but I think you have lots of good ideas so far. I wanted to come up with something creative and cute for Megs' teachers for their end-of-the-year gift, but drawing a blank there too. I bought them gift certificates for Mani/Pedis, but wanted to bundle it all up in a creative way......yeah, I got nothing! Oh well!!!! We love these two so much, and I hate that I haven't been able to think of anything yet!!!!

Maybe our creativity will return this summer. I am sure that Megan's teachers will love their gift certificates!

I have no good ideas, but I just love the picture of Bo. Chelsea's going to get such a kick out of the picture.

Isn't it great? I laugh every time I see it!

Jackie, I'm totally uncreative so I won't be much help in thinking of something for Chelsea's birthday card Having Bo on it though is such a great idea and I love what some of the other DISers are coming up with!

Thanks! It's a good feeling to be all finished with school! Yesterday I cleaned the house and finished a book -- too bad the house won't stay clean for the rest of the summer.

Hi!!! That's super sweet of you! I would gladly pay for any postage -- I remember there was always a restaurant guide with menus and one guide that I loved -- Where to go in Hilton Head, I think it was called -- loved both of them!

We are staying at the Hilton Head beach and Tennis Resort in the Folly Field area this time since we are just going for the weekend. We usually stay in Sea Pines at the Beachside Tennis villas across from the South Beach Marina. Have you thought about renting bikes? That is my favorite activity. You can almost bike anywhere in Hilton Head. They also have fireworks, I think it is every Tuesday night, at the marina.

We have a half day today and then 19 more days.
Most of the kids don't even come in today. They're already in the Hamptons, Fire Island, or Connecticut for the long weekend. I'm counting down the seconds until dismissal at noon. Then, it's off to Maryland.
