Top Secret Pixie Dust! A Surprise 13th Birthday PTR! NEW! TRIP REPORT LINK PAGE 220!

You and Charles are slick!! Love your code names. :) What fun planning this surprise will be!

Boris and Natasha is great! I bet you and Charles can't say it to the kids without smiling! haha

Love it!

Evergreen here. I had boys, but wanted an AG doll so I bought myself Feliclity. My Grand daughters are looking forward to playing with her.

Girls out grow dolls so much earlier than they used to. It's such a shame.

Having fun with this PTR. Rocky & Bullwinkle turned 50 this past fall.:3dglasses

Agent Natasha, agent treehugger reporting! You will see my expertise in covert operations as I've read your previous trip reports and love them (and I'm so good, I bet you had no idea I read them at all. Proof is in the pudding.) *maniacal laugh* :cool2:

Are Connor and Chelsea Rocky and Bullwinkle then?

Are Connor and Chelsea Rocky and Bullwinkle then?

Hee Hee that made me laugh! Wonder how Pre-teen fashionista Chelsea would feel if she new she was being referred to as a Moose on the Disboards! :lmao: Connor on the other hand seems like he'd be just fine being portrayed as a squirrel ;)

:woohoo: love your code names Jackie! You two are so stealthy! :cool1:

Hope you are enjoying your "snow" day ;)

Oh, I hope no one foils our plans -- most of all I hope Moose and Squirrel don't catch on.

That's funny right there! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Love the Boris and Natasha...and the moose and squirrel...:lmao: !!! Hilarious!

I hope you are enjoying your "day off/in"! I've noticed lots of DISing happening today with so many people having it off! :thumbsup2

That is so perfect!! I love those code names!! :thumbsup2

Thanks! I thought so, too! ;)

I love the Boris and Natasha code names perfect! Especially as you have your own moose and squirrel.

Ever since I took that picture, I always think of "Moose and Squirrel" when I see it.

That is PERFECT!! My DH and I like to talk in code around my DD too. It drives her crazy to be out of the loop! But your DD is older and wiser so you better be careful!!!

We used to be able to talk in code so much better than we can now. It's hard to get anything past the kids anymore, so we are reduced to talking in whispers in other parts of the house.

It was great, thanks for asking! I am going to start my TR soon, but my camera battery is dead, and I've lost the charger. As soon as I find it, my TR will be started. We had a great time though!! Christmas is officially my favorite time of year to go. :santa:

I hope you find the charger soon! Make sure you let me know when you start your TR, so I can come over and read all about it! With all the great photos I have seen of Disney at Christmas, I am already planning a 2011 Christmas trip -- we went back in 2004, but I am ready for another one!

Courtney, I missed you! I can't wait for your TR!

Sheepskin is an awesome name, but I LOVE that you came up with Boris and Natasha. :rotfl: I had totally forgotten about them until you posted that!

Sorry you are having such icky cold weather. My boyfriend (also a Charles) was telling me how it's been freezing in the south and in Florida. When I told him I knew that already because of some DIS friends who live in Tennessee and Georgia, he just smiled and shook his head. :rotfl2:

We have several old episodes of Rocky and Bullwinkle and always get a huge kick out of watching them.

The cold weather has been brutal. It is supposed to get down to 14 tonight, and I really don't think we have EVER dealt with such low temps for such a long period of time! I am ready for summer at this point!

You'd think he'd be used to it by now!

You would think! :rotfl:

Boris and Natasha!

PERFECT!

Thanks! We were pretty proud of ourselves. ;)

You and Charles are slick!! Love your code names. :) What fun planning this surprise will be!

We are already having a blast with it!

Boris and Natasha is great! I bet you and Charles can't say it to the kids without smiling! haha

Love it!

We do tend to amuse ourselves with it! :rotfl:

Felicity is a lot of fun with all of her Colonial things.

Chelsea has moved into the "collecting" phase with her dolls. She likes to have them, but certainly isn't playing with them anymore. With a mom and a grandmother who collects dolls, she can't escape from them completely.

Rocky and Bullwinkle are 50? Yes, I guess that does add up! Wow! How time flies!

:lmao::rotfl2::rotfl: You are very sneaky! Welcome!!! I am glad you decided to come out of hiding! :goodvibes

Are Connor and Chelsea Rocky and Bullwinkle then?

Of course!!! :rotfl:

Hee Hee that made me laugh! Wonder how Pre-teen fashionista Chelsea would feel if she new she was being referred to as a Moose on the Disboards! :lmao: Connor on the other hand seems like he'd be just fine being portrayed as a squirrel ;)

She would die! Absolutely die! :lmao: You are right about Connor though -- he would be all excited to be compared to Rocky the Flying Squirrel!

:woohoo: love your code names Jackie! You two are so stealthy! :cool1:

Hope you are enjoying your "snow" day ;)

I enjoyed it until after lunch. Then, the novelty wore off.

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: I almost spewed my hot chocolate!

That's funny right there! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I love that pic, but I ALWAYS want to say, "There's Moose and Squirrel" in my best Natasha accent.

Love the Boris and Natasha...and the moose and squirrel...:lmao: !!! Hilarious!

I hope you are enjoying your "day off/in"! I've noticed lots of DISing happening today with so many people having it off! :thumbsup2

Yes, I think there were quite a few of us home today in the South.

Boris and Natasha are perfect!

Thanks! I am thinking they need to be our Halloween costumes as well. :rotfl:

I just jumped over from your October TR. I love the secret agent theme. How fun! If it isn't taken Dasher came up for me. Your ticker is really cute!:goodvibes

Boris and Natasha.... Oh my goodness!!!! That's amazing!!!! :D

These code names are really just too much fun. Haha. ;)

Are you really a senior already??? I can't believe it!

Well, I'm actually supposed to be a junior this year. BUT...the fact that I already have more than the required number of credits needed to graduate and that I only had one class I was supposed to take my real senior year (and I was only planning on taking 2 this year) wasn't making my school very happy. So they "offered" me the opportunity to technically "skip" a year, which I gladly took. Haha.

That's great! Are you looking at colleges and everything?

As some of you know, I have been absolutely DYING for some snow here in our little corner of North Georgia.

Well, all last week the weather forecasters were predicting there was a chance of it on Thursday. Oh, please, let it be so!

Wednesday, the forecasters were saying it was almost definite. Our superintendent, who is very proactive, decided we would release early on Thursday. He wanted to make sure all the buses had delivered the kids home and were off the streets long before the weather could turn bad.

Thursday, it started snowing about 12:30. Just a little bit here and there -- nothing too exciting. It came down for about three hours and coated surfaces just enough for the kids to insist on playing in it. Nothing like making snowballs out of the scrapings off the patio table.

Bella loved the snow and frolicked in it the whole time the kids were outside.

Nala, on the other hand, was terrified of it. She is scared of most things in life.

Chelsea cracked us up when I said, “Smile, honey,” and she turned on her full wattage, I’m-posing-for-a-picture look.

003-2.jpg

Connor could barely stop what he was doing long enough to look at the camera.

004-3.jpg

I had to get some artistic snow shots. You can see just how little snow we had.

By 3:21, our superintendent had called school for today. Now, before all the Northerners in my reading audience start laughing too hard, remember that we do not have the same resources to deal with ice and snow that you have, and most of all, people here in the South don’t have a clue how to drive in these conditions. Add to that, all the snow had melted and left the roadways wet -- with an overnight low in the teens, the roads were going to be solid sheets of ice in the morning.
Sure enough, those roads were icy this morning. So icy in fact, that there were accidents all over the place, and roads and interstates were closed. Snow Day for sure.

I should remember to be careful what you wish for because by lunchtime, I was over the whole snow day idea. The novelty was gone, gone, gone. It had snowed a bit more in the night, so Chelsea and Connor were in and out, in and out all day long. Every time they came in, they brought some chunk of snow or icicle to stick in our freezer. By the end of the day, I am pretty sure they were scraping snow off the leaves of the bushes to stick in the freezer, and we aren’t talking pretty snow, but snow with bits of grass and dirt mixed in.

At one point, Connor came in with snow plastered to his back. He proudly exclaimed, “We are making snow angels!”

I replied, “Really? I thought all the snow was in our freezer!”

I hope the roads thaw out tomorrow before cabin fever really hits me.

That was great. I loved that update. AND yes sorry I was one of those Northerners chortling at your "snow" -- but of course I will add they don't know how to drive in snow in MD either...

VERY cute desparate snow acts from your children... Snow Angels... Good grief!!! Too funny. keeping snow. In the FREEZER?? :rotfl:

In a way I am very glad that we were down in Disney when this big storm hit us... even though they would have played in in a lot, being inside is not the same as being outside and a house is only so big for some energetic boys for so long... I would have been the monster who ate her young... ;)

It looks like fun at your house though!

So, we will be Boris and Natasha (from the old Rocky and Bullwinkle cartoons). That way we can talk in fake Russian accents. When we were coming inside tonight from taking Nala outside, he said, "Come on, Natasha." He is so going to out us!

so awesome!!! and natasha sounds so exotic! :cool2: charles better not blow your cover!

I just jumped over from your October TR. I love the secret agent theme. How fun! If it isn't taken Dasher came up for me. Your ticker is really cute!:goodvibes

it's actually already taken. sorry! just go back and try again or just make up one of your own! :thumbsup2

It snowed here this morning, but it was business as usual. The dusting stuck by me but that's because I'm on the North Shore. Nothing stuck in Manhattan. Nothing. Darn buildings blocking the snow. My hopes for the doors of school to be blocked by snow were gone the minute I got off the bridge :rotfl2:

My brother lives in Maryland and he tells me they don't know how to handle snow either :confused3 Does the department of sanitation come around and plow?

Snow with dirt and grass is so much better than yellow snow :scared1:
