Top of the world lounge on July 4th

staying using our points at BLT over July 4. The Disney website says jul3-4 are blackout dates. Are these blackout dates for EVERYONE? Even members staying there? OR are they only blockout dates for members NOT staying at BLT trying access the lounge?

If staying at BLT on points, no problem. The black out is for others.

I have heard that members start staking out a spot in the lounge when it opens on July 4th and some of them will even bring ice chests.

Even though you might own points at BLT, if you aren't staying there on July 3 and 4, you cannot access the TOTWL on those dates. But any member using DVC points to stay at BLT on those dates can access the lounge.
