Baloo, thank you SO MUCH for posting! I totally would have forgotten about wearing green !

And that is truly pathetic of me because my DS is reading at the St. Patrick's day mass at his school...he would have probably been the only student without a shamrock pin on his uniform!!

Well, technically, I used to wear the orange on St. Pat's day..being a protestant Scot and all. But, now that I've married a 100% Irishman, all grandparents off the boat from Ireland, and the mother of a redheaded, blue eyed freckled faced dd, looks like I'll be wearing green for the forseeable future!!

I too am an orange Protestant...however, I married into the O'Byrnes clan. So now I don't dare wear anything but kelly green and shamrocks on March 17. My very British grandpa is gone now...so it's safe to wear green today. It's all Blarney anyway! Except of course the corned beef and cabbage slow cooking in my kitchen.

Happy St Pat's Day!!!

Been up since 5am since my Irish Dance school had to dance on tv this morning. We have been busy this week. After I get off work, I go to do some more dancing at two local places. I figure I won't be done until almost 9pm tonight. This is going to be a long St Pat's Day for me.

But I am wearing my green.
