Top five favorite Disney characters...and why?

Mine are easy for me!
1.Peter Pan- simply because I am quite envious of his lifestyle and I think the whole story of it is quite magical. It would be lovely to go to a place like Neverland and not be faced with problems.
2.Tink & Wendy tie for second place because they are both the female leads in my favorite Disney movie and something about both of their personalities I can relate too. tink can be sassy and aggressive and Wendy can be curious and caring. I like them both.
3. Stitch- simply because most people think he's this evil little alien, but if you pay close attention, he really is a sweetie. I don't think he can help that he is sometimes bad and he tries so hard to be good. Lilo & Stitch 2 is the sweetest movie ever because its obvious how sorry he is for his bad behavior.
4. Mickey Mouse- because it all started with him and he always has such a positive attitude and energy about him. He's so cute and his voice is to die for! Its just adorable! Mickey is not #4 because I hate him. I just think all of these characters are my favorites and I love them equally.
5. Chip & Dale- What can I say? The dynamic duo always brings a smile to my face. Honestly, I have not seen a thing that they have starred in, but as far as meet & greets in the parks and the cuteness level, they win!

I honestly love all Disney characters, but since we could only choose 5...

1.Captain Hook- Hes just so awesome
2.Stitch- fun to watch
3.Mickey- the mouse rocks
4.Peter Pan- Favorite disney movie/ hook is in the movie
5.Jack Sparrow- very funny

1,2&3: Flora, Fauna and Merryweather - I LOVE THEM!!! They are the best disney fairies in existence and should be included in the new fairies merchandise. We just don't get enough of them!

4:Rabbit - He's just so funny! Anyone who's seen pooh's most grand adventure will know what i mean!
:rotfl:

5: This one's difficult - it's hard to choose one final one. I think I'll have to go with Belle though - She's my favourite disney princess - but i like Ariel too...

1.Belle - Beauty and the Beast is my favourite movie!
2.Beast
3.Arial
4.Pumbaa - He still makes me laugh
5.Tigger

I will be the "offical" spokesman for the family. I only claim this cause I am a at the keyboard....lol.

1. Son just answered Mickey Mouse, but I will throw in Buzz for him as on offical vote.

2. The wife just walked through and she casts her vote to Donald Duck.

3. I would throw in me (I did get to captian the boat at the Backlot Tour)...but since that is no good, it has to be Woody.

4. We love all Lighting McQueen.

5. I have to give a little love to Minnie...she always gets overlooked.

1. Goofy - The guy just makes me laugh
2. Donald - Reminds me of my Brother
3. Snow White - She rocked my son to sleep on our Disney Cruise when he was one year old.
4. Buzz Lightyear - He is my childrens hero!
5. Belle - I always wanted to be her!

I seem to like side characters a lot, so I don't know if those count. LOL

1. Donald Duck! He's my favorite. :) We share cranky personalities but we love FUN!

2. Lumiere from Beauty and the Beast. Witty, hopeless romantic and sweet optimist. What's not to love?

3. Mulan. She's a tough chick with inner and outer beauty! I loved the art/animation in this entire movie--very beautiful.

4. Woody from Toy Story. I just love how Tom Hanks did the voice for Woody and what he did with the character.

5. Sebastian from Little Mermaid. I'm a sucker for cute comic relief!!

Oh, if I can't use Lumiere or Sebastian according to some rules, I'll choose Chip & Dale! Love those clever critters, especially in Mickey's Christmas where they torture poor Pluto. LOL

hah hah, no rules here! in fact, i actually LOVE the fact that you have some non core characters such as Lumiere and Sebastian. that's what i was hoping to see pop up in this thread! it just goes to show how great the characters of the Disney Universe is, and how deep it is.

so far the biggest suprise for me is the genuine LOVE for all things Pooh that i've noticed through the replies. seems like most people have at least one Pooh character on their lists. don't get me wrong...i like pooh and the hundred acre wood gang, too. i just didn't quite realize the popularity level of them.

jeff.
