MY DS IS 11 AND LOVED ALL THE PLACES WE ATE, BUT HERE IS HIS TOP FIVE:
#1 - GARDEN GRILL ~ I was told to ask for a table on the lower tier, which we received with no extra wait. Our PS was for 6:10. We checked in about 15 minutes early and only waited 5 minutes for a table. This was our first time at this restaurant and it happened to be the first meal of our stay. We all loved it. The food was very flavorfull and filling. The characters were awesome. They came around about 4 times while we were there. The rotation of the restaurant was nice, but not much to look at.
#2 - HOOP-DEE-DOO MUSICAL REVUE ~ We had PS for the Sunday 9:30 pm show. Again, this was our first time at this place. The show was very entertaining. I loved watching my son laugh and laugh during the show. I thought the food was ok. My son found plenty to eat, but wished they had another dessert choice. My best tip for going here is to take a light sweater. I wore a sleeveless shirt and was freezing! I laid my napkin over one of my arms. When our waiter noticed this he said he could help me out. He brought out a tablecloth and wrapped it around me, which greatly embarrassed my son, but I felt so much better!
#3 - RAINFOREST CAFE AT AK ~ We had planned on eating at Flametree BBQ, but the rest of my family didn't want to eat outside, so we went to Restaurantosaurus. It was supposed to open at 11, but it still wasn't open at 11:30. Decided to try Rainforest. We got right in with no wait. We have been to other Rainforest Cafe's in other cities and found this to be comparable. We love the themeing and found the food to be very good. The gift shop here is always fun too!
#4 - CAPE MAY CAFE (DID THE BREAKFAST AND SUPPER) ~ Both were very good with many, many selections. The dessert bar at supper is excellant! The characters at breakfast were good.
#5 - 50'S PRIME TIME CAFE ~ This was one of the few repeats we did from our 2000 vacation. The atmosphere is so fun and the food is good. We get the smore for dessert, so yummy!
All of our meals the entire week were good, but so expensive! I figure we are on vacation, so why not live it up! Again, this is a top five list from an 11 year old boy. I really agree with his choices, but I would have to add the Flying Fish and Spoodles to my top five!
