Top Chef Masters - Who will be watching

Muffyn you make a great point and we thought the same thing. We thought they may not like leftovers, they may be beneath them. ;)

my son in law refuses 95% of time eating lefovers! he would rather eat a PB&J sandwich ( which he does) than eat 'stuff' a 2nd day ( even lasagna, pork chops, etc.)

:confused3

I am NOT throwing out good stuff,, although some times my hubby thinks leftovers 3 days in a week is too much, (from the same thing,, so I freeze stuff now & bring it back in a few weeks :rotfl2:),,

my brother , at one time was in Austria teaching. his wife hated the fact , that there was no place to store food! EVERYONE each day bought their fresh supplies & made dinner NEW & FRESH each night.
(they loved my care packages of raisen bran cereal).
they still adore austria , but not the shopping.

A friend's husband refuses leftovers of any kind. Whatever. I said if he was in my house he would eat what we had or go hungry. He isn't the kind to make his own meals either. He would starve here.

I don't know what to do... Michael's gone, Wiley's gone... I guess I'm just going to have to find myself a new favorite next week ;)

Seriously, I wasn't impressed with the winning Chef. I know personality isn't required, and obviously her dishes were better than those of the other Chefs, but she's SO deadpan.

My favorite to win it all so far is Hubert.

I thought Graham Elliot was really fun. He and Wiley seemed like they have a great time together. I really would have loved to see him win. He would have been really fun to watch.

She reminded me of my OB. Looks, the voice, the deadpan personality...
It gave me horrible flashbacks of two weeks ago and my labor experience! :scared1:

I watched I felt bad for Wiley.

I was surprised by his attitude. He seemed like a bit of a bad sport.

I thought he was critical and annoyed with himself. I didn't think he was a sore loser.

Yeah, I guess that is a bit better way to say it....

I was just surprised at his attitude.

It was fun to watch him and Graham interact though..

After watching Wiley last night (we recorded it) I had a whole different opinion. I actually liked him more than I did before watching the show. He seemed more real now. He did seem disappointed in himself. I was afraid his style of cooking would limit him too much, but it didn't.

Graham was my pick to win last night. I was disappointed that he didn't win.

The winner was not my pick at all. She is blah.

I thought the show last night was great, though I'd have preferred that Wylie or Graham would have taken the win. They were hysterical playing off one another.

In reality, though, I can't imagine any of those chefs serving me a bad meal.

I'll have to catch Hubert's win. I didn't see an episode until this week. It's set up to DVR now, so I won't miss another one.

Next week is Rick Bayless' week. I'm excited! YAY! It was funny when they were asking the French guy about making a quesadilla. But is it fair to have Rick make a quesadilla in a challenge since he has studied Mexican food for so long and that really is his specialty? Either way I sure hope he wins it!

This week I was on the edge of my seat when they were giving the final stars. The past two weeks the last chef to receive their stars were the winners. When they gave Rick his stars next to last I knew he was going to be packing his knives and heading home. I was upset and babbling all kinds of stuff. My poor husband was telling me to just wait and see.

Boy was I happy to see Rick win!

John Besh is on next week we are pulling for him to win that round. The finale is going to be difficult!

From the looks of the preview for next week it looks like it would have been so much more suited for Wiley.

I loved Rick's attitude about serving the street food... and the Puerto Rican chef's attitude. They were as entertaining as their food was delicious.

Loved Rick's comments about slipping some tongue to the crowd. :lmao:

Those two were very funny.
